It’s at last here! Volvo Car India launched its much-awaited born electric C40 Recharge at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 61,25,000 plus applicable taxes. Bookings for the same will commence from 5th September. Bookings for the C40 Recharge will be exclusively online and can be done on the Volvo Car India Website. This is the second EV model from Volvo in Indiatobe assembled at the Company’s plant at Hosakote in Bengaluru, Karnataka and it comes with an 11 kW charger. TheGlitz reviews.

The C40 Recharge is Volvo’s first-born electric car and offers leather-free interiors that are made of recycled materials – Volvo has pledged to promote sustainability – and some remarkable features that clearly distinguish it as a full-electric car in a sporty and contemporary way. The C40 Recharge showcases Volvo’s core value of responsible styling that incorporates the brand’s high standards of safety while offering sustainable mobility solutions. The C40 Recharge has a Euro NCAP five-star rating with regard to safety performance.

We spoke to Mr Jyoti Malhotra, MD, Volvo Car India briefly and he told us: “Like all our offerings the C40 Recharge is also assembled at our plant in Hosakote in Bengaluru and is a reflection of our commitment to the Indian market.” Besides that: there is a hassle-free Ownership Package:

Volvo Car India also announced that the C40 Recharge will only be sold online directly by the Company. Customers would be able to place orders online directly on volvocars.com from September 5th 2023,5 pm onwards. Bookings can be done with a refundable deposit of Rs.1,00,000. Volvo Car India’s network of its pan India retail partners will continue to support customers towards sales delivery by providing on-ground support.

Tre-Kronor – Ultimate Luxury Experiences
The company also announced that the exclusive “Tre Kronor Experience” program rolled out for XC40 Recharge customers will be extended to C40 Recharge customers as well. Tre-Kronor denotes the three crowns of Swedish luxury and will offer a host of unique luxury and personalized experiences.
