Jasleen Kaur, the Founder of ChocoLoveByJasleenKaur has a unique love story with chocolates. An intrepid ‘choco’preneur, Jasleen tells TheGlitz about her amazing journey into the cocoa-rich world of chocolates, her work for the underprivileged, how she’s promoting vegan bakery and a ‘going back to our roots’ movement in baking. Over to Jasleen.

Jasleen Kaur’s Choco Tale

“I was always passionate about baking but never saw it as a business opportunity until the Spread Smile Foundation‘s Diwali Mela 2020. Okay, let me start my choco tale from the beginning. I support an NGO(Spread Smile Foundation) which works for the upliftment of the underprivileged in the field of education, health, environment, sanitation & awareness for underprivileged women, children & their families. So we were planning the Diwali Mela where all the members and students were supporting with handmade items like wall hangings, painted diyas etc. As I was passionate about baking, I put up a stall of assorted handmade chocolates which was a big hit and incidentally, one of the most revenue-generating stalls. This gave me the motivation to start my venture of customized handmade chocolates and cakes where the focus was on quality and uniqueness.”

ChocoLoveByJasleenKaur

ChocoLoveByJasleenKaur is a home-based bakery shop that serves assorted chocolates with unique flavours like gulkand, coconut, rose… the list is endless. We also make customized chocolate hampers and theme boxes as per the customer’s requirement. Our most popular items include animal theme boxes and name chocolate lollipops in 2D and 3D options. These are cute little chocolate lollipops with the name of the person on it. We also make customized cakes using the finest quality of products – and all the items are 100% eggless. Our aim is to serve healthy baked items to our clients with 0 sugar and AP Flour. Therefore, we prefer using homemade white butter for our cakes. We also use desi khaand in replacement to sugar. Also, we prefer using whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour. …And one can feel the difference in the taste. The vision of this venture is to include vegan bakery items in the coming months and not to forget our roots.”

For A Good Cause

The revenue of this venture supports the education of 2 children at present and aims to support at least 10 children in the coming years. We have also been supporting the NGO’s Diwali Mela every year and all the profits go to the NGO for all the good work they are doing.
