India, the world’s eighth-largest coffee producer, exports an impressive USD 1.25 billion worth of coffee each year. So, it’s only natural that Škoda, whose headquarters in the Czech Republic guzzle down 25 tonnes of coffee annually, would find a perfect match in India’s rich coffee heritage. But this isn’t just about satisfying caffeine cravings—it’s about reshaping the entire supply chain. By cutting out middlemen and working directly with local farmers in Coorg, the company ensures that every sip is not only rich in flavor but steeped in fair trade practices, certified by the Rainforest Alliance.

Coffee bean husks, a by-product typically tossed aside, are being reimagined as a key ingredient in tanning leather seats for Škoda’s Kodiaq and Octavia models.
