We can ‘Saif’ly say… If you’ve seen Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, the adrenaline-packed action thriller, then you know that this is not your average heist film. With a super star-studded cast featuring Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta, this Netflix blockbuster offers a suspense-filled ride that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Recently, the cast, along with the producer Siddharth Anand, sat down for an exclusive chat on IMDb, sharing all the behind-the-scenes gossip and insights that TheGlitz just had to get in on!

Saif

Saif Ali Khan’s First Day Fiasco: From Nerves to Rottweilers

Let’s start with the Nawab of Bollywood himself, Saif Ali Khan. Known for his smooth charm both on and off screen, the charismatic super hero admitted that his first day of shooting was less about smooth sailing and more about a self-loathing reality check.

“I remember my first day, it was very late at night,” Saif laughed, “We started at 1 AM. I would finish around 5 AM as the light came up. It was the first time I met Jaideep, and I hated myself… just like I always do on the first day of shooting.” We’re sure his ‘hate’ wasn’t nearly as intense as his character’s inner conflict in the film, but hey, even Bollywood royalty has those “I’m a little lost” moments.

But the real kicker? A massive Rottweiler. Saif’s character shares scenes with Jaideep Ahlawat’s dog, and the first-time dog handler was left completely shook by the size of the animal. “I didn’t know they were that big,” Saif confessed, “I was feeding it biscuits, playing with it, until I pulled it slightly. The growl that came out of it was terrifying. I got the memo… don’t mess with Rottweilers.”

Jaideep Ahlawat’s Glow-Up Moment

Now, if you thought Saif was the only one bringing cool to the set, think again. The new dancing king of Bollywood Jaideep Ahlawat who has been serving us iconic roles since Paatal Lok, in Jewel Thief, he brings a leaner, meaner vibe to the screen that caught even Saif off guard. “I was surprised by how thin he was,” Saif revealed, clearly impressed.

“The last time I saw him as Hathiram, he looked solid, but here, he’s lean, mean, badass, very sexy! He gave me young Sanjay Dutt vibes.” If that’s not a compliment, we don’t know what is. But it wasn’t just Jaideep’s physique that surprised Saif… it was the level of commitment to his craft. “I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I was,” Saif added, “His commitment to reality, to getting the shot just right, he’s the real deal.”

Siddharth Anand: The Man Behind the Madness

Of course, no heist film would be complete without a mastermind pulling all the strings, and Siddharth Anand was more than up for the task. Anand, who has a knack for creating high-octane thrillers, admitted that the genre was a personal favorite. “It’s something I love watching,” he said, “and creating something like this gives me sleepless nights… but that’s the fun of it.” No wonder the film feels like a pulse-pounding ride!

Jaideep Ahlawat: A Moment of Pure Humility

And then there was Jaideep, who, with his usual humility, expressed his surprise at just being part of this incredible journey. “I’m surprised just working with Saif,” Jaideep quipped, “I’ve done something good, that I’m working with him, that’s a surprise for me.” Aww, Jaideep, we’re surprised too, mostly because we discovered you can dance like a dream. Here’s a toast to the new John Travolta of Bollywood.

The Jewel Thief Experience: Thrills, Chills, and a Whole Lot of Bonding

It’s clear from the candid moments shared by the cast and crew that Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins wasn’t just another action film… it was a thrilling journey, filled with unexpected surprises, memorable bonding moments, and plenty of behind-the-scenes laughter.

Whether it was Saif battling his own nerves, Jaideep stunning everyone with his transformation, or Siddharth pushing boundaries to create something unforgettable, the experience was a true testament to what happens when talented minds come together to make magic.

For the full scoop, make sure to check out the exclusive IMDb interview where Saif, Jaideep, and Siddharth spill the beans on what went down both on-screen and off-screen. Trust us, this heist is worth watching… but it’s the behind-the-scenes drama that will truly steal your heart.
