One starry, starry night… all roads led to Riverdale… oops The Archies grand premiere night where Bollywood’s ‘who’s who’ graced the Red Carpet. It was indeed a fashion extravaganza! Featuring the creme-de-la-creme – from Bollywood’s A-listers to top socialites, the glitz ‘n’ glam event navigated the very best in sartorial style. Here, Sumita Chakraborty, Editor-in-chief, TheGlitz, deconstructs the fashion game of the stars at the grand premier of The Archies.

Let’s spotlight Archie of The Archies aka Agastya Nanda who chose to wear a blue velvet blazer paired with pants. His iconic grandpa Amitabh Bachchan looked dapper in a textured bandhgala blazer, white button-down printed shirt, and black silk-satin baggy pants. Grandma Jaya Bachchan in a pearl-white embroidered silk suit was busy shushing the paps. Mami Aishwarya opted for a black embroidered blazer-styled gown while Abhishek Bachchan looked handsome in a black suit. Sis Navya Nanda wore a one-shoulder deep red gown while mom Shweta donned a black golden-embroidered anarkali dress. Aunty Karisma Kapoor looked like a fashion maven in a black textured blazer and matching skirt with a thigh-high slit.

Cut to the next biggest family in Bollywood – the Khans. Suhana Khan aka Veronica of The Archies looked gorgeous in a super fitted floor-length gown in glittering red, teamed with a pair of red earrings and a ring from Goenka India. Shah Rukh Khan, the evergreen hero flaunted ‘The Archies’ printed shirt styled with a notch lapel black blazer, matching straight-fit pants, dress shoes, trimmed beard, and a side-parted hairdo tied in a ponytail. Wife Gauri wore a sleeveless black midi dress featuring a keyhole neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette accessorized with stacked bracelets, dangling earrings and embellished heels, Aryan and AbRam looked handsome in black.

Khushi Kapoor aka Betty Cooper of The Archies looked adorable in a gold sequin gown worn by her mom Sridevi 10 years ago – mom Sridevi would be so proud. She embellished the look with a diamond choker. Sister Janhvi Kapoor stunned in a show-stealing black midi-length dress adorned with multi-colored gem embellishments and strappy black high heels.

Cousin Shanaya Kapoor, soon to debut herself, attended the event in a pearl-white sleeveless gown featuring a cowl neckline and a figure-sculpting silhouette.

The other guests to cheer the newbies were Katrina Kaif who attended The Archies premiere with her sister, Isabelle Kaif. Kat looked sexy in a black faux leather bodycon dress while Isabelle, in a floral cropped blouse and midi skirt set, stunned!

Ananya Panday turned heads in a strapless black body-hugging dress, silver hoops, a bracelet, and black pumps. Kajol preferred to wear a sheer black saree adorned with nude and white floral prints.
