Over to Primla Hingorani

Your journey has had many momentous milestones. Could you tell us about the life-changing milestones that have molded you to be what you are today?

One of the most significant milestones in my journey was covering 500 kilometers in just 100 days at the age of 72. This achievement wasn’t just about physical fitness but showcased resilience and dedication. It was a transformative moment that reinforced my belief that age should never limit one’s pursuit of passion and impact.

What are the setbacks you have faced? How did you tackle these setbacks or challenges? And what lesson have you learned from it?

Facing setbacks is inevitable, and for me, it was about tackling them head-on. One notable challenge was advocating for awareness about breast cancer through my running. The key was to approach setbacks with unwavering determination and turn them into stepping stones for progress. The lesson learned was that setbacks are temporary; what matters is the resilience to overcome them.

When you look back, what are the three qualities in you that have helped you become what you are today?

Reflecting on my journey, three qualities stand out – unwavering determination, a passion for community service, and a resilient spirit. Determination fueled my fitness pursuits, a passion for community service drove my efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer, and resilience kept me going despite challenges. These qualities have been my guiding lights.

Who are the people who have been the wind behind your wings?

I credit much of my strength to my incredible support system, particularly those who encouraged my fitness journey and philanthropic endeavors. They have been the wind beneath my wings, propelling me forward in my mission to make a positive impact on both personal and societal fronts.

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?

“No excuse is good enough to stay at home locked away.” This quote encapsulates my belief that age should never be a barrier to pursuing one’s passion and making a significant impact. It reflects my mantra that life is for living to the fullest, regardless of age or circumstances.
