Roshni Aslam

Roshni Aslam is the Co-founder and Head of Finance at GoSats, India’s first Bitcoin rewards platform that rewards users with Bitcoin every time they shop. Her motive with GoSats is to see it become the default gateway to accumulate bitcoin and build a crypto ecosystem for a billion people.
After completing her M.Sc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, UK – Roshni joined Alphabit, a cryptocurrency and digital asset investment fund as an investment analyst. She has also worked as a Senior Research Analyst at ONEX AE, a financial consultancy firm based in Dubai.
Towards the end of 2020, Roshni along with her brother Roshan co-founded GoSats with a vision of being the simplest Bitcoin on-ramp where users can shop and earn free Bitcoin rewards. Although there are similar competitors abroad, GoSats is the only company pioneering this in India.
In her free time, Roshni likes working out and does CrossFit 4 times a week. She is also fond of baking, cooking and reading. Roshni Aslam tells TheGlitz more about her milestones and setbacks.

Your journey has had many momentous milestones. Could you tell us about the life-changing milestones that have moulded you to be what you are today?

Being a graduate with a MSc Finance degree is one of the top milestones of my journey. Along with that, having a co-founder who is also my brother, and being able to build a company such as GoSats feels truly esteem.

What are the setbacks you have faced? How did you tackle these setbacks or challenges? And what lesson have you learned from it?

As an entrepreneur there are quite a few setbacks we can face. Some of them could be related to regulations, fund-raising, uncertain economic or market conditions etc. To tackle this, we need to employ different strategies such as having good problem solving skills, being adaptable, cultivating a resilient mindset, and a lot more that would be helpful in navigating those challenges.

When you look back, what are the three qualities in you that have helped you become what you are today?

Being disciplined, the ability to innovate, and having a strong work ethic have helped me become what I am today.

Who are the people who have been the wind behind your wings?

My family is the reason who I am today. Without them, there wouldn’t be any wind under my wings.

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?

Keep following your passion and building it on, success will follow.
