Together

Tucked within Delhi’s urban landscape, there is this intimate bar which is not just another nightlife destination… it is a carefully curated sensory escape where music, architecture, materiality and mood come together in perfect harmony. And the name of this gorgeous place is Together. Inspired by Japanese listening rooms, vinyl culture and the quiet sophistication of traditional sake bars, Together transforms an 800-square-foot space into an immersive world of sound, texture and understated luxury.

TheGlitz explores this hidden design gem where every detail tells a story of craftsmanship, creativity and contemporary hospitality.

Designed by the prestigious Studiio Dangg, the project reflects a new-age approach to hospitality interiors — where the experience begins even before the first drink is poured. Every corner has been thoughtfully considered, creating an environment that feels intimate, mysterious and deeply atmospheric.

A Dramatic Prelude: Entering the World of Vinyl

The journey into Together begins through a dedicated foyer that immediately establishes the bar’s creative identity. Wrapped in classic black-and-white subway tiles, the entrance creates a striking visual contrast before guests step into the warmer, more intimate world beyond.

At its centre is a neon sign reading “Off the Walls”, a playful reference to Off the Wall, setting the tone for a space that celebrates music as both culture and experience. This graphic, almost cinematic arrival sequence feels like an introduction to a private club — one where discovery is encouraged and every detail hints at a deeper story.

A Japanese-Inspired Cocoon of Warmth and Texture

Beyond the entrance, Together unfolds into a cocoon-like setting inspired by Japanese sake bars and listening lounges. The interiors embrace warmth through rich walnut tones, with custom Smoked Walnut Veneer by Flamingo Veneers forming the foundation of the space.

The timber creates the feeling of an elegant underground cellar — intimate, grounded and timeless. The defining architectural gesture is the sweeping curved wall that rises and blends seamlessly into the ceiling, creating a sculptural backdrop reminiscent of a wine cellar carved from natural materials.

Subtle concealed lighting grazes the textured surface, highlighting the contrast between roughness and refinement. The result is a space that feels organic yet highly considered, balancing craftsmanship with contemporary minimalism.

Where Sound Becomes the Soul of the Space

At Together, music is not simply background ambience — it is the heart of the experience. Inspired by Japanese vinyl listening culture, the bar places sound at the centre of its identity.

A floating DJ console allows guests to connect directly with the music, breaking the traditional separation between performer and audience. The design encourages interaction, curiosity and shared moments, creating a space where conversations flow as naturally as the carefully selected tracks.

The compact layout accommodates just 28 seats, allowing the atmosphere to remain exclusive without feeling restrictive. Every element has been positioned with precision, ensuring functionality while maintaining the sense of intimacy that defines the venue.

Crafted Details That Elevate Everyday Luxury

Material choices throughout Together reflect a philosophy of quiet sophistication. Travertine introduces a tactile stone element, forming the bar counter and tabletops while creating a beautiful dialogue with the warmth of the wooden interiors.

Custom travertine wall sconces add another layer of craftsmanship, casting a soft, diffused glow that enhances the textures around them. Mirrors are strategically placed throughout the space — including a horizontal band at seating level and a large mirrored shelving wall — creating depth, movement and the illusion of a larger environment.

Furniture has been entirely bespoke, with recurring arched details creating a cohesive design language. From sculptural tables to carefully engineered seating with distinctive backrests, every piece prioritises both visual appeal and comfort.

The Art of Creating Atmosphere

Lighting plays one of the most important roles in shaping Together’s identity. Rather than relying on dramatic illumination, the design embraces a low, ambient lighting scheme that allows materials to shine. The glow highlights wood grains, curved surfaces and tactile finishes while maintaining the intimate mood of a true listening bar.

Together proves that luxury is not always about excess. Sometimes, it is found in restraint — in a perfectly placed light, the warmth of natural materials, the crackle of a vinyl record and the feeling of being completely immersed in the moment.

A beautifully composed blend of sound, design and emotion, Together is a sophisticated new addition to Delhi’s hospitality landscape — a hidden gem where architecture does not simply frame an experience, it creates one.

TheGlitz Verdict

Together is a reminder that the most memorable luxury experiences are often the ones that engage the senses quietly. It is not just a bar; it is a mood, a moment and a beautifully orchestrated escape from the ordinary. With its Japanese-inspired intimacy, vinyl-driven soul, rich material palette and meticulous attention to detail, the space creates a rare harmony between design, music and emotion. Every curve, texture and glow feels intentional, making Together a destination where guests don’t just walk in for a drink — they step into an experience crafted to linger long after the last note fades.
