Beauty by BiE Superpower

Queenie, besides being a fashion icon, you have amazing entrepreneur skills – Could you tell us about your Beauty by BiE journey? What made you start it? Why a beauty product?

The core idea behind the onset of Beauty By BiE was revolutionizing the way people experienced skincare and encouraging them to embrace their inherent beauty through the art of self-love. Commitment, consistency and dedication are the fundamentals in this journey of transformational skincare. Embracing your inner beauty and approaching your goals with commitment is crucial. The elucidation of BiE is, finding Beauty in everything: in the small moments of pampering your skin and embracing self-love, in discovering one skill you are good at and putting your heart out to upscale, and in being compassionate towards our co-beings by maintaining an equilibrium. These are the facets of life that make you unique, make you beautiful.

“The elucidation of BiE is, finding Beauty in everything.”

– Queenie Singh

What is the story behind the name?

Beauty, to me, is in everything. I appreciate beauty beyond mere facial appearance; for me, it resides in anything and everything that exudes positivity. A kind, warm, positive and compassionate person exemplifies a beautiful person to me. I believe in gauging and understanding a person’s nature through his/her eyes. Your eyes speak a lot about you, the personality that you embody. My brand name captures all the myriad facets and perspectives of beauty within these three words: “BiE – Beauty In Everything.”
The logo symbolizes the moon, Luna, with the lady gazing upward, signifying that she has reached her peak of personal evolution. The changing faces on the side of the logo represent the various phases of transformation and growth. In a nutshell, the logo encapsulates the journey through various transformational phases before reaching one’s true potential.

What are the challenges you faced in this journey? How did you overcome them?

Business is universally challenging, regardless of size, from small retail shops to multinational giants. BiE was no different, embarking on its unique journey fraught with obstacles, including packaging design, product perfection, regulatory compliance, budgeting, innovation, raw material assessment, and more. Despite these daunting challenges, I persevered with a positive mindset, relentlessly pursuing my goals to ensure the smooth operation of my business.

Your fashion sense is impeccable. Are there any chances of you starting a fashion enterprise that captures Queenie Singh’s fashion sense?

Fashion is ingrained in my identity, a true reflection of who I am. While launching my own clothing line has long been on my vision board, it feels like a venture for the future. I recognize that the fashion industry is ever-changing, and the future remains uncertain. Currently, I find contentment in expressing my style through personal choices and celebrating the creativity of fellow industry professionals.
What are the three milestones in your journey as an entrepreneur you are especially proud of?
My deep-rooted passion for art, beauty, and creativity has been with me since childhood. It was always a dream of mine to venture into these fields, and I’m thrilled to say that those dreams have become a reality. Jewels By Queenie and Beauty By Bie are the tangible results of my love for beauty and art. I take immense pride in these two ventures and am highly motivated to elevate them to even greater heights.
