This is that time of year when everyone comes together to celebrate Christmas, and the Tree-lighting ceremony is the threshold to the festive season celebrations. Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel welcomed the festive season by putting up the Christmas tree, decorated with colourful lights and ornaments that cheered everyone with joy and happiness.

The hotel’s lobby was lit up with fairy lights and filled with festive decor that gave one a little extra smile and a feeling of celebration. One of the timeless traditions includes the gingerbread house that was covered with icing, candy, and sugar drops, which for sure sparked all the kids’ imaginations of fairyland. As the choir team from St. Anthony’s Church performed beautiful Christmas carols, our very own Santa Clause joined the group and made the evening’s celebration most memorable. The event began with a welcome note from SagarGaonkar, EAM-Rooms, who later inaugurated the tree-lighting along with kids. It concluded with a thank-you note from Mahesh Padala, Cluster Director F&B, and was followed by a delicious spread of hors d’oeuvres and wine.

On this occasion, Mr. Mahesh Padala, Cluster Director, F&B expressed, “It is always a beautiful experience to organize a Tree Lighting activity at our property, as it brings cheer not only to us but also to all of our associates, kids, and guests. We have a few events lined up for this December at our hotel, starting with an exclusive Christmas eve dinner and brunch, followed by themed New Year’s parties.

Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!

There’s a saying that travel opens the mind and fills the heart... and nowhere did I feel this more than on my journey through Belgium, thanks to Belgium Tourism. For an Indian traveller like me, Belgium was both familiar and foreign, a place where centuries-old history sits beside modern culture, where art meets everyday life, and where every meal feels like a celebration. My route covered Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, and Brussels... each city unique, yet stitched together by that quintessential Belgian charm.
