TheGlitz is still basking in the glow of Mother’s Day, and today, we raise a celebratory toast to the intrepid Gunjan Agarwal… a woman who proves that reinvention has no age limit, and that leading with love is a lifelong art.

After 22 fulfilling years as a devoted homemaker and mother, Gunjan stepped into an entirely new chapter in 2020… swapping home routines for boardroom blueprints. Armed with quiet confidence and inspired mentorship from her husband, Vikash, she launched XYSTCare… a skincare brand born from intention, backed by science, and built with heart.

Gunjan’s leap into entrepreneurship wasn’t just bold, it was deeply purposeful. Frustrated by the gap between what consumers wanted and what products actually delivered, she set out to rewrite the narrative. With a laser focus on results, transparency, and accessibility, she began crafting premium, dermatologist-certified formulations that deliver what they promise… radiant, healthy skin for all.

Her philosophy? Skincare should be honest, effective, and inclusive… never intimidating. Her journey? A masterclass in resilience, grace, and the power of starting anew.

Today, from the warmth of her home to the helm of her growing brand, Gunjan Agarwal continues to redefine success, proving that passion never dies, it simply reinvents.

Gunjan’s entrepreneurial journey is as inspiring as it is grounded. But ask her what brings her the most joy, and she won’t hesitate… it’s her daughters. Watching them grow into empathetic, resilient young women is, for her, the most meaningful milestone of all.

Whether she’s formulating skincare or setting the emotional tone of her home, Gunjan leads with a heart full of intention. Here in an exclusive interview with TheGlitz, Gunjan Agarwal speaks of work-life balance not as a perfect equation, but as a dance… one where adaptability, communication, and love are key.

How do you tackle challenges, and what are three milestones that define your journey?

I firmly believe that challenges are the stepping stones to growth. When faced with obstacles, I approach them with an open mind, convinced that the solution lies within. I’m fortunate to have a supportive family who offers valuable insights, helping me navigate challenges.
Reflecting on my journey, three key milestones stand out:
1. Embracing challenges and learning from failures: Recognizing that setbacks are inevitable, I’ve learned to accept and grow from them.
2. Building a positive support network: Surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who uplift and encourage me has been instrumental in my progress.

3. Celebrating every success: Every win, big or small, is a step towards progress, and I make it a point to acknowledge and celebrate each one.
This mindset has helped me navigate challenges and stay focused on growth.

How do you strike that beautiful balance between work and home life?

As a mompreneur, finding work-life balance is a constant juggling act. I’ve learned to prioritize my family while being flexible when my business demands extra attention, especially during its current growth stage. Clear communication with my loved ones is key, ensuring everyone knows what’s happening and what’s expected. By staying adaptable and open to adjusting my schedule as needed, I’m able to balance my responsibilities while keeping my family’s needs at the forefront.

What’s been the most rewarding part of your motherhood journey so far?

Watching my two incredible daughters blossom into kind-hearted, talented young women has been the greatest joy of my life. Seeing them grow with empathy, compassion, and a never-give-up spirit fills my heart with pride and love. Their strength, resilience, and respect for others truly make every moment as their mom rewarding.

My TheGlitz quote is…
Motherhood is being their safe haven, where laughter, love, and even the tears are shared without fear.
