Firsts & Fearless: TheGlitz Super Woman 2026, Masuma Siddique, Founder and Chief Strategist, InkCraft Communications
Every powerful brand story begins with a bold decision — the moment someone chooses to stop following narratives and start creating them.
This Women’s Day, TheGlitz Super Woman celebrates that spirit through our theme “Firsts & Fearless.” It honours women who dare to step into the unknown, build with conviction, and turn uncertainty into opportunity. These trailblazers lead with quiet fire, challenge conventions, and prove that progress — not perfection — is the real measure of success.
Among these changemakers is Masuma Siddique, Founder and Chief Strategist of InkCraft Communications, a full-service brand, PR and marketing agency headquartered in Goa with a growing PAN-India presence across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
With over 16 years of experience in strategic communications and integrated marketing, Masuma has built a reputation for transforming ideas into compelling narratives that resonate across media, audiences, and industries. Her work spans sectors as diverse as hospitality, healthcare, mental wellness, travel, real estate, fintech, technology, gaming, fashion and lifestyle — a testament to her ability to translate complex business goals into powerful brand stories.
At the heart of Masuma’s approach is a simple but powerful belief: every brand has a story worth telling — but it takes strategy, insight and authenticity to make the world listen.
Through InkCraft Communications, she has championed a marketing-led PR philosophy, blending storytelling with data-driven strategy to create campaigns that do more than generate visibility — they build credibility, trust, and long-term impact. From media relations and influencer collaborations to digital amplification and experiential marketing, her team crafts integrated communication programs that help brands evolve from ideas into conversations, and conversations into lasting influence.
Like many entrepreneurs, Masuma built her business without the comfort of a large safety net.
Yet those moments of uncertainty became the foundation of her resilience.
Each challenge sharpened her instincts as a strategist and strengthened her clarity as a leader.
Today, Masuma’s definition of power has evolved far beyond titles or visibility.
It is a philosophy that reflects the very essence of Firsts & Fearless.
…Because Masuma Siddique’s journey is not just about building a successful agency — it is about proving that when women trust their ideas, embrace risk, and build with integrity, they don’t just create businesses.
They create platforms that amplify voices, shape industries, and open doors for others to dream bigger.

“If my story encourages even a few women to trust their ideas, take risks, and believe that they can create something of their own, that would mean a lot to me.”

Over To Masuma Siddique Founder and Chief Strategist InkCraft Communications, a full-service Brand, PR & Marketing Agency
When was the last time you did something for the first time and how did it shift your perspective?
Recently, I made the decision to consciously slow down and step back from being involved in every single operational detail of the agency. As founders, we often feel responsible for everything, every email, every campaign, every outcome.
Letting go of that control and trusting my team more deeply was a first for me. It shifted my perspective from “doing everything myself” to building a structure where leadership is about empowering others. It reminded me that true growth happens when you create space for others to lead alongside you.
What is one truth about being a woman in your industry that deserves more honest conversation?
One truth that deserves more honest conversation is that women in communications and PR are often expected to be endlessly accommodating. The industry is relationship-driven, which sometimes creates an unspoken pressure to always say yes, always be available, and always be agreeable.
But leadership requires boundaries, clarity, and confidence. Over time, I realised that the ability to say no, to negotiate your worth, and to stand by your strategic vision is just as important as being collaborative.
Tell us about a challenge that tested you deeply and what rebuilding taught you about yourself.
Building a business from scratch without a large safety net tests you in ways nothing else can. There were moments in the early bits of InkCraft Communications when things felt uncertain, especially when navigating client expectations, scaling the team, and maintaining consistency in a fast-moving industry.
What rebuilding taught me is resilience. It showed me that every setback is actually a chance to refine your strategy, sharpen your instincts, and become more grounded as a leader. Today, I look at those difficult moments as the foundation that made InkCraft Communications stronger.
What does power mean to you today, and how has that definition evolved over time?
Earlier in my career, I thought power meant visibility, recognition, and being in the room where decisions were made.
Today, power means something very different. It means having the freedom to build something on your own terms, to choose the kind of work you believe in, and to create opportunities for others along the way.
For me, real power lies in influence, the ability to shape conversations, support brands in telling meaningful stories, and help people grow alongside the business.
Beyond titles and milestones, what change do you hope your journey inspires for the next generation of women?
I hope my journey inspires more women to build things without waiting for perfect conditions. Entrepreneurship rarely comes with certainty, but it comes with immense growth.
If my story encourages even a few women to trust their ideas, take risks, and believe that they can create something of their own, that would mean a lot to me. Success is not just about personal milestones; it’s about opening doors for others to imagine bigger possibilities for themselves.
Rapid Fire: Masuma Siddique “Her Firsts”

First bold risk you took
Starting InkCraft Communications. Leaving the comfort of a structured career to build my own agency from scratch was a leap into the unknown, but it was also the most empowering decision I’ve made.
First time you chose yourself without guilt
When I realised that setting boundaries between work and personal life was not selfish but necessary. As entrepreneurs we often give everything to the business, but choosing your well-being ultimately makes you a better leader.
First failure that became a lesson
Early on, I believed that hard work alone would guarantee success. I later learned that strategy, patience, and the right partnerships are just as important as effort.
First big win that felt surreal
The moment I saw InkCraft Communications working with brands across multiple cities and industries. Watching something that started as an idea grow into a recognised agency felt incredibly surreal.
First time you felt fearless
When I realised that I didn’t need permission to build something meaningful. Once that mindset shifts, fear becomes much smaller than the vision.
First woman who shaped your ambition
My grandmother. Her strength, wisdom, and resilience shaped the way I look at life. She taught me that true confidence comes from staying grounded, working with integrity, and believing in your own path.
