Gucci
Call it Gucci’s latest style takeover: bold personalities, sharper silhouettes and plenty of attitude. Across Charlotte, Venice, New York and Toronto, the Italian house is dressing a distinctly eclectic cast… from musicians and actors to artists, models and sporting-world royalty… in looks that oscillate between old-school glamour and something considerably more sophisticated rebellious. The common thread? Gucci is making dressing up feel gloriously individual again.
The latest wave of the appearances reads less like a conventional celebrity dressing exercise and more like a rolling study in contemporary style. Tailoring is sharper, denim is stranger, eveningwear is decidedly sensual, and the house’s codes… Horsebit, GG, leather, silk… keep surfacing in unexpected ways.
TheGlitz takes a closer look.
EsDeeKid: Denim Gets a Dark, Dangerous Twist

At the opening show of his Council House Rat Tour in Charlotte, EsDeeKid wore custom Gucci in a look that made denim feel anything but ordinary. The dark grey washed denim hooded jacket and matching baggy jeans were finished with denim python appliqué, bringing texture, attitude and a slightly rebellious edge to the ensemble.
It is precisely the kind of dressing that works because it refuses to be too polished. The proportions are loose, the fabrication feels lived-in, while the python detail introduces just enough eccentricity. Streetwear, but with a very expensive vocabulary.
Venice Says Yes
Venice International Film Festival dressing can often become a parade of predictable tuxedos. Gucci, however, is making a persuasive argument for tailoring with personality.

Francesco Gheghi arrived at Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Pier in a Gucci Generation black leather jacket, black denim trousers, Ragazzo moccasins and Gucci sunglasses. Later, at the “Dio Ride (God Laughs)” photocall, he switched into a Gucci Primavera black shiny satin shirt with light blue denim, sunglasses and black Ragazzo moccasins.
For the screening, the mood turned distinctly formal: a black silk Prince of Wales double-breasted suit, black shirt and Como loafers. Three looks, three moods… and proof that contemporary tailoring does not need to behave itself.

Pierfrancesco Favino took the classic route, wearing a double-breasted black Gucci suit with a black silk shirt, Horsebit-detail leather loafers and sunglasses. The result? Old-school Italian elegance with a cinematic finish.
The US Open Becomes Style Set
Meanwhile, at the US Open men’s semi-finals in New York, celebrity dressing took a more social, fashion-forward turn.

Lindsey Vonn paired a soft nappa leather jacket with a white Horsebit-detail viscose crêpe jersey top, coated denim, a GG Marmont belt and the GG canvas Melrose bag.

Alex Consani chose a viscose crêpe jersey dress with Horsebit detail, while Hayes Warner worked a black iridescent Primavera top with a laminated flute skirt, Horsebit Donna pumps and Gucci sunglasses.

Devon Lee Carlson brought sleek separates to the occasion in a fine silk faille jacket and skirt with Castello heels.

Sydney Carlson opted for a GG jersey jacquard top and shorts, also paired with Castello heels.

Nacho Figueras leaned into relaxed luxury in a stretch-polyester zip jacket, satin shirt, black denim, Ragazzo loafers and Gucci sunglasses, while Delfina Blaquier chose a light-grey Primavera seamless midi dress with Savoy pumps.
Marina Abramović and Naomi Watts: Two Very Different Kinds of Glamour

This fashion story stretches beyond conventional celebrity style. At the amfAR Gala Venezia 2026, Marina Abramović wore a black silk GG kaftan with feather detailing—dramatic, artistic and entirely at home in Venice.

In Toronto, Naomi Watts offered another interpretation of the house’s vocabulary in a blue silk jersey Primavera dress with black leather Horsebit-detail boots.
Different cities. Different personalities. One fashion language.
THEGLITZ TAKE
It’s fashion time! The leather rebel, the Venice sophisticate, the tennis-court fashion insider, the artist, the movie star. And that may be the most interesting thing about the house right now: the logo is familiar, but the attitude keeps changing.
Fashion, thankfully, has stopped asking everyone to look alike. Gucci seems to be leading the way.
