This Vishu, indulge in an authentic South Indian culinary experience at South of Vindhyas (SOV), the renowned restaurant at The Orchid Hotel, Mumbai. Chef de Cuisine Bala Subramanian has curated a special menu, which includes traditional Vishu Sadhya elements and 56 varieties of vegetarian breakfast dishes.

Savor the flavors of Aviyal, Thoran, Sambar, Rasam, Pachadi, and more, along with unique dishes that are exclusive to SOV. And don’t miss the breakfast spread, featuring classic South Indian favorites like Dosas, Idlis, Vadas, Appams, and Pongal, accompanied by a variety of chutneys and sambar.

Appetizing delicacies served in authentically laced plantain leaf plates are part of the grand feast that Chef Bala and his team exquisitely prepared.

The traditional favourites Banana Chips, Unniappam, and Chakka Upperi are served with a variety of pachadi, including Vendakkai, Pavakkai, Carrot, etc. Avial, Olan, Kootu Curry, and Sambar are among the elaborate main dishes accompanied with red and steamed rice. Vishu Sadhya will be complete with freshly prepared desserts like Pazham puri, Adda Payasam and Parippu Payasam.
