Bombay Cartel

As an ingredient, chocolate adds richness, depth, and a touch of indulgence to our creations. Whether it’s the velvety smoothness of Chocolate Trio or the decadence of a Melting Mocha cake, our restaurant uses the best quality chocolate to elevate the taste and experience of our products.

Apart from its delectable taste, chocolate has been known to have positive effects on mood and well-being. It contains natural compounds like phenylethylamine, which can promote feelings of happiness and relaxation. Additionally, chocolate is a source of antioxidants, which can help protect against free radicals and support overall health.

On this Chocolate Day, Bombay Cartel invites you to celebrate the magic of chocolate.

Paul & Mike

Paul & Mike believe that farming and fermenting cocoa is both art as well as science. Not just cacao but their foundation lies in clean/ honest ingredients and this elevates chocolate to more of a discernible passion without taking away from the indulgent factor. They strive to present chocolate in all its glory with its antioxidant properties, resveratrol found in dark chocolate; at the same time creating a range of exciting options ranging from curcumin to real fruit-based flavours to nuanced variants like whisky barrel aged bars. There’s candy & there’s good chocolate, at Paul & Mike , chocolate day or otherwise, good chocolate is a way of life.

Kikis

Kikis chocolate orange espresso martini

CHOCOLATE ORANGE ESPRESSO MARTINI

60ml chocolate liquor

30ml cointreau

30ml vodka

2 candied orange slices

1 tbsp chocolate shavings

In a cocktail shaker with ice add the chocolate liqueur, cointreau and vodka. Shake for 30 seconds or until well combined and chilled.

Pour into martini glass and garnish with a fresh or dried orange slice.

Garnish rim with chocolate shavings if desired.

The chocolate orange espresso martini is a delightful and indulgent cocktail blending the classic ingredients – chocolate, orange, and coffee. I love its rich taste, the sweetness of chocolate, bright citrus notes of orange, and the bitter undertones of coffee. At a brunch or cocktail party, this drink has a great energizing effect due to the caffeine content of espresso. It is extremely versatile and serves as an indulgent treat or dessert-like drink as well. Are you ready to sit back and enjoy the combination of these luxurious flavours from Kikis?

The Blue Gourmet

The Blue Gourmet

Anglo Indian used chocolate sourced from a chocolate brand known as The Blue Gourmet. It is an artisanal bean to bar brand. All the beans are sourced sustainably from farms in south India. The chocolate used is naturally free from any chemicals and preservatives. The brand uses Khansari Sugar, which is a simple sugar extracted from Jaggery making it a healthy alternative.

Every flavour of chocolate used in each item tells a story, and every bite is an adventure. It’s an oasis of joy created to spread happiness and bring smiles to all our customers.

Juicy Chemistry

Chocolate or Cocoa is rich in antioxidants such as phenols and flavanols, which help protect and heal the skin. In fact, cocoa is said to have a higher antioxidant capacity than even green tea or black tea. Thus when it comes to skincare, chocolate helps repair damage caused by free radicals, promotes new cell production, and keeps the skin healthy and radiant.

Cocoa butter, a fat extracted from the cocoa bean and used in making chocolates, also makes for a greatly nourishing ingredient for the skin. It is enriched with essential fatty acids such as Omega 7 and Omega 9, that deeply moisturise the skin and maintain an even tone. Cocoa Butter is also rich in vitamins such as Vitamin A and E that further nourish and protect, making this ingredient a good choice for dry skin.

Peppermint & Chocolate Lip Balm: A certified organic lip balm made from organic cocoa butter, organic peppermint essential oil and other nutrient-rich botanical butters and oils. This lip balm is a founder favourite that deeply moisturizes and repairs damaged lips.

Hazelnut, Coffee & Chocolate Mask/Scrub: A certified organic body scrub and mask that gently exfoliates the skin while emollient butters such as Cocoa Butter help nourish and replenish the skin. This scrub gently removes dead skin cells, leaving behind soft, supple and smooth skin.
