It was indeed a glorious ‘time fast’ evening wherein all roads led to one of Bandra’s best-known hubs – Hakkasan where Time Avenue and L’Epée the amazing Swiss clockmaking house established for more than 180 years, were showcasing their stunning Kinetic Art. The event was pulsating and started with clockwork precision, and the collection was exquisite, to say the least, and it included amazingly crafted horological Limited Edition inventions that veered from colorful grenades with pins, hot air balloon, time machine, space clock, Grand Prix red car, stunning airplane to even a racing car.

Every single piece of Kinetic Art was realistic and crafted with great detail. Indeed, it was stunning art that epitomized unparalleled craftsmanship, sophistication, elegance, and unmatched artistry. No wonder, Sumita Chakraborty, Editor-in-chief and Rajeev Mokashi, Chief Strategy Officer, TheGlitz, were mesmerized by the sheer elegance, detail and craftsmanship of the ‘Kinetic Art’ on display.

Arnaud Nicolas, CEO, L’Epée, who took us around to see his amazing collection, believes that “an artistic piece should shock, evoke and inspire people.” And the collection did this, and much more. So how did he hit on the concept of Kinetic pieces of Art? Arnaud laughed, “I’m crazy. A brainstorming concept can strike me at any point. I could be taking a walk when I think of an idea. And then I sit down late at night when everyone is asleep and work on it. My USP is to work on the details and make it as real as possible to the smallest of details.”

Arnaud Nicolas, further said, “With our Kinetic Pieces of Art, we aim to create timeless expressions of artistry that resonate with our customers. It was a pleasure to present our latest collection of table clocks in collaboration with Time Avenue.”
