Your journey has had many momentous milestones. Could you tell us about the life- changing milestones that have moulded you into what you are today?

Reflecting on my journey, pivotal milestones have profoundly shaped who I am today. The unexpected opportunity with Emirates sparked my confidence, propelling me into candle-making. Tara Candles’ early challenges were transformative, pushing me to master my craft and convey the profound value of candles. These experiences, coupled with my relentless pursuit of aesthetic excellence, have moulded me into the co-founder and Head of Design and Production at Tara Candles. Each milestone has been a stepping stone, contributing to my resilience, passion, and commitment to crafting moments of joy through our creations.

What are the setbacks you have faced? How did you tackle these setbacks or challenges? And what lesson have you learned from it?

In the journey of Tara Candles, setbacks were part of the process. Challenges included mastering diverse wax mediums and conveying the value of candles. I tackled these hurdles with resilience and a proactive mindset, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth. The lesson learned is that challenges are stepping stones to success, providing valuable lessons and shaping both business and personal development.

When you look back, what are the three qualities in you that have helped you become what you are today?

Reflecting on my journey, three qualities have been instrumental in shaping who I am today. Firstly, resilience has allowed me to navigate challenges and setbacks, turning them into opportunities for growth. Secondly, creativity has fueled innovation, pushing the boundaries of design and production at Tara Candles. Lastly, unwavering commitment to excellence has been the cornerstone, ensuring that every aspect of our operations upholds the highest standards. These qualities collectively have played a pivotal role in my journey and the success of Tara Candles.

Who are the people who have been the wind behind your wings?

The success of Tara Candles has been a collective effort, and I am grateful for the unwavering support of several individuals who have been the wind beneath my wings. Firstly, my dedicated team at Tara Candles, whose hard work and commitment have been indispensable in bringing our vision to life. Additionally, my family and friends have provided unwavering encouragement and support throughout this entrepreneurial journey. Their belief in me has been a driving force, propelling Tara Candles to new heights of success.

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?

If I were to encapsulate my journey and approach to life in a quote, it would be: ‘In the dance of challenges and creativity, I find the rhythm of my success.’ This quote reflects my belief in embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and the constant pursuit of creativity and innovation as the driving force behind my personal and professional endeavours at Tara Candles.
