Aesana Bhuta is on a mission. She believes in looking at the bigger picture and “ruminating on the possible reprogrammings that can lead you to your greatest good.” No wonder, at a such young age, she has dabbled successfully in the many segments of the glamour world and has marked a niche for herself. Ask Aesana Bhuta to define her life and she says, “I am a celebrity photographer, stylist, publicist and social media strategist by profession. I have a degree in photography from a reputable institute. My key skills in photography and styling are fashion, beauty, product, editorial, advertorial campaigns and celebrity. With the profession being in close association with digital marketing i.e. PR & social media virality, I have also gained formal training in these aspects as well.” Passionate about her work, Aesana Bhuta has worked with professional models, TV artists and renowned veterans from the film industry. She has also been featured in the Times Of India, Midday, She The People TV, Urbanasian & many other platforms. In a candid interview with TheGlitz, Aesana Bhuta talks about milestones, challenges and more.

Over To Aesana Bhuta

Aesana Bhuta

Your journey has had many momentous milestones. Could you tell us about the life-changing milestones that have moulded you to be what you are today?

I think learning the art of adaptation as life comes through has made me what I am today. Being able to find the fix to any situation with a calm mindset and asserting my way to the best in store for everyone involved, is a skill that I have accustomed myself to. I think standing my ground on certain set rules and keeping compromises of any sort at bay have made me achieve the milestones so far in my journey.

What are the setbacks you have faced? How did you tackle these setbacks or challenges? And what lesson have you learned from it?

I haven’t really faced any setbacks as such to be honest, for I have always experienced a welcoming approach from the productions and artistes I have worked with. My formula for dealing with challenges is to treat them like constructive, driving forces toward better experience and knowledge in my line of action. Over time I have learned that every day has its own genre but treating the harsh ones as mere experiences and the good ones as memories is the key to happiness. Fretting over what may or may not work is something we shouldn’t do at any point.

When you look back, what are the three qualities in you that have helped you become what you are today?

My humility, inclination towards keeping my distance from unhealthy work tactics and focusing on the bigger picture have helped me come this far – both in life and work.

Who are the people who have been the wind behind your wings?

Aesana Bhuta

My parents, friends and mentors have been pillars to me throughout. I am grateful that I have people who play the role of both – critics and wellwishers as the situation calls. It is said answers often get sourced from within and for my luck, my inner circle is the core of who I am at the moment and who I am becoming.

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?

I think the quote that best defines me is that: one cannot solve problems with the same level of thinking that created them, in a way it’s all about ruminating on the possible reprogrammings that can lead you to your greatest good.

There are some people who, when you think of them, you can't help but smile. For me, Mr. Nari Hira, the legendary media baron behind iconic magazines like Stardust, Society, and Savvy, was one of those rare individuals. Sumita Chakraborty, former Editor of Stardust and now the Editor-in-Chief of TheGlitz, recalls nostalgically about Mr. Nari Hira: "He was the captain of our Bollywood ship, steering us through choppy gossip-filled waters with a laugh and a wink, always knowing just when to throw in a little more spice to keep the voyage thrilling!"
