We have six different seasons in India— spring, summer, monsoon, autumn, pre-winter and winter. While some love spring, many enjoy winter, and there are others who connect with the monsoon more. Actor Amit Sarin was last seen in the film Between Mountains, directed by Vineesha Arora-Sarin. talks about his favourite season.

“I love LA winters because it’s rarely very cold here. I would say Southern California has the best weather in the world,” he says.

Talking about his preferred winter holiday destination, Amit adds, “I don’t like extremes–overly warm and humid in the summer or wet, snowy and cold in the winter. I like a temperate climate, and I love the sun and that’s LA for me. In about a 2-hour radius of LA, we have mountains with snow in winter, deserts, canyons, and long stretches of beach. 300 days out of 365 days it is bright, sunny and has an amazing temperature that changes during the day to give you a great feeling. As far as my preferred holiday destination is concerned, I like travelling around LA ”

For short breaks and picking from choices around a two-three hour drive from LA, Amit enjoys going to Palm Springs, Big Bear, Laguna beach, San Diego and Las Vegas. “I love visiting these getaways because you can visit them any time of the year,” he says.
