Berlin Brew

If there’s one place that’s captured Mumbai’s craft beer spirit with effortless flair, it’s Berlin Brew Beer Garden in Andheri Lokhandwala. Perched on the second floor of Samarth Vaibhav building, this rooftop haven is where the Berlin beer culture meets Mumbai’s monsoon soul, spacious, pet-friendly, and designed for unhurried afternoons and breezy sundowners.

Berlin Brew Beer Garden — Where Brews, Bites & Vibes Collide

TheGlitz’s star ‘Brew Bro ‘n’ Bite Bandit’ duo… two culinary thrill-seekers with a taste for ‘hops ‘n’ haute’ bites, recently made their way to Berlin Brew Beer Garden in Lokhandwala, Andheri, on a mission to sip, savour ‘n’ soak in the rooftop scene. Set against the urban buzz of Andheri and lifted by the charm of Berlin’s underground energy, this breezy, pet-friendly beer garden merges cool graffiti walls, raw industrial textures, and lush green corners into a vibe that’s effortlessly relaxed, yet unapologetically bold.

Cocktail hour though it was mid-afternoon kicked off in style… a zesty cucumber spritz and the tropical kick of an Easy Guava set the tone for what would be a full-blown flavour fest. From flame-grilled English cheddar chicken kebabs oozing smoky richness to basil-infused Thai chicken that brought a herbaceous punch, every bite hit just right. The farmhouse pizza delivered a cheesy, veggie-loaded comfort fix, while the tiramisu was a silky dream with just the right buzz of espresso. Bonus points for the surprise hit: warm, crusty bread served with a rich stout reduction, unexpected, clever, and utterly addictive.

Then came the beer-forward blitz… two pints of Belgian Wit downed with ease, and the legendary Beer Tree, a 6-glass sampler that delivered everything from crisp, summery notes to deep, malty finishes. These pints were perfectly matched with Chef Sagar’s mezze platter (read: creamy hummus, crispy pita, and flavour fireworks), spicy paneer tawa pulao, and a show-stopping Malvani chicken loaded with coastal masala swagger. To round it off? A warm brownie paired with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream… super comforting, gooey, and dangerously habit-forming.

TheGlitz Verdict by TheGlitz Beer Geek & Bite Freak Duo

“Berlin Brew is big on space, even bigger on vibes. It’s the kind of place that invites you to linger… whether you’re working through a beer flight or diving headfirst into bold, globally inspired bites. If we had to nitpick, the service could’ve been sharper, especially since the café wasn’t running at full tilt. But honestly? The brews, the flavours, and that rooftop air more than made up for it. This one’s a definite cheers from us!”

TheGlitz Final Word:

We say… Berlin Brew Beer Garden is where you come to linger, to laugh, to sip something cool while the world slows down around you. A rare gem in Andheri’s busy landscape, and one TheGlitz is absolutely bookmarking for return visits.

If couture could whisper, TheGlitz is sure that it would murmur the verses Rahul Mishra embroidered onto the runway this season. In his latest collection, Becoming Love, unveiled at Paris Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter 2025, Mishra didn’t just design garments, he wove emotion into embroidery, turning Sufi philosophy into sartorial storytelling. The seven stages of love unfolded on the ramp not through words, but through zardozi, organza, sequins, and soul. This is love as art, couture as confession. And for those of us at TheGlitz, it was nothing short of an affair to remember.
