Legend has it that the fort was cursed by a sorcerer, leading to its abandonment and subsequent haunting. Visitors have reported experiencing eerie phenomena such as disembodied voices, strange apparitions, and an overwhelming feeling of unease. The Archaeological Survey of India has even prohibited entry to the fort after sunset, further fueling its reputation as a paranormal hotspot.
