Jennifer Lopez returns to Abu Dhabi

Jennifer

Jennifer Lopez, the iconic singer, actress and entertainer, returns to Abu Dhabi as an F1 fan favourite, bringing her signature chart-topping anthems to Yas Island. Featuring hits like All I Have, Waiting For Tonight, Let’s Get Loud, Ain’t It Funny, I’m Real, Jenny from the Block, On The Floor and Save Me Tonight, the performance promises fans a night packed with world-class production, singing and dancing, celebrating a career that has made her a global phenomenon.

Etihad Live

The JLo Show will take place at Etihad Live, formerly Etihad Park, the iconic Yas Island venue that is the heart of Abu Dhabi’s entertainment scene during Grand Prix week. The announcement adds another major star to the Yasalam presented by etisalat entertainment programme, where world-class live music meets the high-octane spectacle of Formula 1 for one of the most anticipated weekends on the global sporting and entertainment calendar.

David Powell, Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Ethara Live, said: “Jennifer Lopez is one of the world’s most iconic entertainers, and her ability to connect with audiences across generations makes her the perfect artist to headline the Friday After-Race Concert at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This year’s Yasalam presented by etisalat entertainment programme continues to bring together the world’s biggest artists, reflecting our ambition to deliver the biggest and most exciting entertainment event of the year.”

Jennifer Lopez Rules

Dominating multiple industries as a singer, actress, producer and business mogul, Lopez is the only artist to top both the music and film charts simultaneously, with over $3 billion at the global box office, more than 80 million records sold and billions of streams and views to her name. The ultimate multi-hyphenate global icon is celebrated for high-energy shows that bring together music, choreography and full-scale production.

She joins a blockbuster line-up that includes Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, who will open the After-Race Concerts on Thursday, 3 December, Imagine Dragons on Saturday, 5 December, and The Chainsmokers and The Script closing out race week on Sunday, 6 December. The Yasalam festival is bringing more acts than ever this year, with the inaugural Yasalam Classics with Andrea Bocelli and Official After-Party with Anyma, whilst global DJs Black Coffee, CamelPhat and Shimza taking over three days at 16/360 – an exclusive experience at Yas Marina Circuit combining world-class entertainment with spectacular views of the on-track action at the F1 Season Finale.

Access to the After-Race Concerts is exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders, with the option to upgrade to the Golden Circle to guarantee access and get closer to the stage, putting fans in the heart of the action for one of the most spectacular live shows of the year.

The 2026 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place at Yas Marina Circuit from Thursday, 3 December to Sunday, 6 December. Tickets are available at abudhabigp.com.

TheGlitz Take

Let’s be honest: Formula 1 is, of course, adrenaline thumping but it is not just about who crosses the finish line first. It’s about the spectacle, the swagger, the celebrity sightings, the champagne moments and the delicious business of turning a sporting weekend into a global lifestyle extravaganza. And Abu Dhabi is definitely the most spectacular place to have all that and more…

Bringing Jennifer Lopez to the Friday After-Race Concert is truly sensational. Here’s a woman who doesn’t merely perform; she commands a stage, serves choreography with military precision and makes sequins look like a legitimate dress code. From Jenny from the Block to On The Floor, JLo’s catalogue is practically engineered for a crowd that has spent the day soaking up the adrenaline of the racetrack and is now ready to trade racing flags for raised hands. Add Alex Warren to the bill, and the evening promises a generational musical mix.

But here’s TheGlitz Take: the real genius of Abu Dhabi’s F1 entertainment formula is that it understands its audience isn’t buying just a ticket to watch cars race. It’s buying into an experience. The roar of engines by day, superstar performances by night, glamorous hospitality, waterfront views and the kind of international crowd-watching that could keep a celebrity columnist occupied for weeks. It’s sport, entertainment and luxury tourism doing a rather spectacular three-way dance.

TheGlitz verdict? Abu Dhabi is not only hosting the grand final race of the F1 season; it is also owning the after-party, too. And with JLo bringing her larger-than-life energy to Yas Island, the message is unmistakable: in this corner of the world, the checkered flag is merely the beginning of the evening. Just remember to save some stamina for the dance floor. Those engines may cool down, but JLo certainly won’t be slowing the tempo!
