Calling Artists to illuminate the Festival of Lights

As the Festival of Light approaches, it’s time to illuminate your artistic spark! The ‘Create and Celebrate Diwali through Art’ competition is a globally inclusive event that blends artistic spirit with the vibrant culture of Diwali. In partnership with Downtown Issaquah Association, TheGlitz invites artists of all levels to dazzle the world with their Diwali-inspired creations.

By hosting this exclusive art competition, The Downtown Issaquah Association is offering a prestigious platform for artists to showcase their talent and connect with a wider audience. The competition not only celebrates the artistic spirit but also provides an opportunity for the community to engage with the rich traditions of Diwali through a modern artistic lens.

The Downtown Issaquah Association would like to invite artists of all ages and skill levels to participate in our upcoming Global Community Art Event, celebrating the vibrant festival of Diwali! Issaquah, located 17 miles East of Seattle with a diverse population of around 40,000, is as passionate about its outdoor activities as it is about its creativity. Designated as a Creative District by the State of Washington, Issaquah celebrates art and artists by hosting various events throughout the year. Join us in this artistic extravaganza and submit your work by November 10, 2024!

Art Competition Details

Theme: Diwali – Celebrating the Artistic Spirit

Art Guidelines:

Acceptable media includes: graphite, coloured pencils, crayons, paints, pastels, chalk, and coloured sand.

All artwork must be 2-D

Each artist may submit only one entry

Prizes: Generously sponsored by Ekta Gupta Studios (ekta-gupta.pixels.com), prizes will be awarded for various age categories, celebrating creativity and cultural expression!
