Provogue X Fardeen Khan

Fashion is often about looking ahead, but every once in a while, it finds magic in revisiting a partnership that once defined an era. Few brand-ambassador collaborations from the early 2000s left as lasting an impression as Provogue and Fardeen Khan. Their effortless chemistry, understated style and contemporary appeal became synonymous with a generation that embraced fashion with confidence and individuality.

At TheGlitz, we believe that the most memorable comebacks aren’t about recreating the past… they’re about honouring a legacy while boldly embracing the future. And that’s exactly what Provogue’s latest campaign, ‘OGs Ka Comeback,’ sets out to achieve.

Provogue X Fardeen Khan – An Icon Returns

Nearly two decades after they first became one of Indian fashion’s most recognisable partnerships, Provogue and Fardeen Khan have reunited in a stylish three-film digital campaign that celebrates nostalgia while introducing the brand’s exciting new direction.

The campaign marks a significant milestone for Provogue as it expands beyond fashion into the travel and luggage category, redefining itself as a contemporary lifestyle brand designed for today’s digitally savvy consumer. Rather than simply revisiting a memorable association, ‘OGs Ka Comeback’ cleverly bridges two generations… those who fondly remember the original Provogue era and younger audiences discovering the brand for the very first time.

Three Films. Three Shades of Fardeen Khan. One Timeless Attitude.

The campaign unfolds through three engaging digital films, each revealing a different facet of Fardeen Khan while celebrating the enduring spirit of Provogue.

The opening film playfully captures a generational exchange as Khan’s enthusiastic young team attempts to explain what Gen Z considers fashionable, only to realise that authentic style never truly goes out of fashion. It’s witty, self-aware and effortlessly charming.

The second film takes a more reflective tone, revisiting a partnership that once shaped Indian fashion while embracing the exciting possibilities of a fresh beginning. It’s less about nostalgia and more about evolution, celebrating growth, reinvention and timeless relevance.

The third film introduces a lighter, teasing narrative filled with playful innuendo, designed to spark curiosity and keep audiences engaged before the campaign fully unfolds across digital platforms.

Together, the trilogy captures everything the campaign promises… humour, heritage and a confident new identity.

Provogue’s Next Chapter Begins

Speaking on the campaign, Pravin Prabhakar, CEO, Provogue, said, “For an entire generation, Fardeen and Provogue were inseparable; he didn’t just endorse the brand, he embodied its attitude. When we acquired the Provogue brand, one thing became immediately clear: if we were going to write its next chapter, it had to begin with the person who had become such an important part of its story.”

Adding, “There was no better way to honour that legacy than to bring the original duo back together. ‘OGs Ka Comeback’ connects the Provogue people remember with the Provogue we are building, reimagined for a new generation while staying true to the attitude it was born with. Going forward, we are committed to aggressive expansion across lifestyle categories, strengthening our travel and luggage presence while entering adjacent segments. Our vision is to make Provogue the most digitally native lifestyle brand in India, fusing timeless attitude with contemporary relevance.”

The campaign also reflects Provogue’s ambitious transformation. Having successfully entered the travel and luggage segment with a fashion-forward approach, the brand now offers an expanding portfolio of trolley bags, backpacks and travel essentials available across major e-commerce platforms, quick-commerce channels and its own direct-to-consumer website. This strategic evolution signals Provogue’s vision of becoming a complete lifestyle destination rather than remaining solely a fashion label.

A Meaningful Homecoming

For Fardeen Khan, the reunion carries both personal and professional significance.

Reflecting on the collaboration, he shared, “Life has a way of bringing the right people and journeys back into your life. After nearly two decades, reuniting with Provogue feels both familiar and completely new. Time has changed us both, and that’s what makes this partnership so meaningful. It’s not about recreating the past, but it’s about taking everything we’ve learnt and beginning a new chapter together.”

Adding, “I’m genuinely happy to be back and excited to write this new chapter together. Some journeys deserve another chapter. You don’t go back to where you were. You come back as who you’ve become.”

His words beautifully capture the essence of the campaign… not merely revisiting history, but celebrating growth, maturity and renewed purpose.

TheGlitz Take

Provogue

Some collaborations become iconic because they perfectly capture a moment in time. Others become timeless because they evolve with it. Provogue’s reunion with Fardeen Khan is more than a nostalgic nod to the early 2000s… it’s a confident statement that authentic style never loses its relevance. As the brand embarks on its next journey into travel, lifestyle and digital-first experiences, ‘OGs Ka Comeback’ reminds us that the finest comebacks aren’t about looking back… they’re about returning stronger, wiser and more stylish than ever before. That’s a comeback worth celebrating. Cheers!
