Roseate Hotels & Resorts has been expanding both in India and the UK. What is the strategic vision behind this international growth, and how do you ensure consistency in the luxury experience across such diverse locations?

Roseate Hotels & Resorts has metamorphosed into a distinguished luxury brand. Its expanding footprint in UK is part of a strategic direction, and there are more acquisitions on the horizon. We see strong potential from both leisure and corporate segments. UK still holds untapped opportunities for luxury hospitality, and we aim to bring our distinct blend of refined elegance and signature Indian hospitality to that market.

As a brand with a strong foundation of expertise & excellence, we implement a cross-exposure program—four of our chefs have already moved from India to the UK, helping to maintain our service standards and cultural & culinary authenticity.

We believe our immaculate hospitality, genuine intuitive service, warmth and attention to detail set us apart. Whether in India or abroad, we ensure that every Roseate experience reflects the same level of values that define our brand.

Beechfield House in Wiltshire is a unique addition to your portfolio. What attracted Roseate to this boutique property, and how do you plan to integrate it into your existing brand ethos?

Beechfield House stood out to us for several reasons. Set in 8 acres of beautiful land with serene water bodies, it aligns perfectly with Roseate’s philosophy of selecting properties in exceptional, nature-rich locations. The setting offers a sense of calm and escape—exactly what today’s luxury traveler seeks.

What truly drew us in was how closely Beechfield resonates with our flagship hotel, The Roseate New Delhi, India, which also features expansive water bodies, landscaped gardens and a strong connect to nature. Within close proximity to our hotels in Bath & Reading, Beechfield House is perfectly poised to offer a tranquil retreat for our guests seeking the serenity of an English countryside. Once refurbished, Beechfield House will organically deliver the same experience of discreet luxury, attention to detail and signature Roseate hospitality.

The Roseate New Delhi has pioneered a water farm that extracts pure water vapor from the sky. Could you share more about the inspiration behind this innovative sustainability initiative and its impact on your operations?

As a brand, we aim to lead the industry through responsible, sustainable hospitality. The water farm at The Roseate New Delhi is a prime example of this commitment. It captures water vapor directly from the air and condenses it into pure, mineral-rich drinking water—one of the cleanest sources available. This is bottled into our own brand of packaged glass bottles – ‘Aheli Water’ which we serve to guests and place in-room.

The inspiration behind this initiative was to reduce our dependency on traditional water sources, eliminate plastic usage, and minimize water wastage. This initiative reduces our environmental footprint and sets a new benchmark in sustainable luxury. It reflects our larger vision: to create exceptional guest experiences while protecting the planet for our future generations.

How do you balance cutting-edge technology and AI-driven innovations with the personal touch that luxury hospitality demands, especially in your upcoming Noida Airport property?

For us, technology is all about enhancing guest experience, ensuring safety & hygiene. We deploy mindful technological innovations at multiple touchpoints of a guests journey to ensure this. Luxury hospitality, for us, will always be a high-touch, high-tech experience. In our existing properties, guests can already control room functions like lighting, AC, and even access elevators and rooms directly from their mobile phones. We’re committed towards taking innovation further at our upcoming Noida Airport property, which we envision as one of the smartest hotels in the world.

We’ve integrated with the airport to offer a seamless journey—from flight schedule checks to baggage handling. Guests will be able to go from their room to the aircraft without worrying about their luggage. It’s about combining technological convenience with Roseate’s signature warmth and hospitality.

Roseate also runs ISKATE, India’s first indoor ice-skating rink, and Roasted By Roseate café with coworking space. How do these ventures complement your hotel brand, and what role do they play in your overall guest experience strategy?

We always strive to go beyond the ordinary, when it comes to delivering a bespoke experience for our guests. It’s about creating excitement, meaningful, enjoyable engagement and a lasting impression beyond traditional hospitality.

Roasted by Roseate was our way of reimagining the food & beverage space. The café in Vasant Kunj has picked up remarkably well, offering the same high standards of personalized service we are known for, but in a more casual, convivial setting. We plan to open more cafes in the coming months to bring that experience to a wider audience.

ISKATE is especially close to our hearts, not just as a business, but as a platform to support and inspire young talent. It provides India’s national ice skaters a professional environment to train year-round, unaffected by weather. It’s about building a world-class space for athletes, helping India dream bigger in international sports. These ventures reflect our commitment to innovation, community, and creating experiences that go far beyond a hotel stay.

Sustainability is clearly at the heart of Roseate’s operations. How do you see the luxury hospitality industry evolving in terms of eco-conscious practices, and what role will Roseate play in shaping that future?

At Roseate Hotels & Resorts, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, Its not simple rhetoric. Luxury is comfort, beauty, and also something that gives back: to the environment, to the community, and to future generations.

Every detail at Roseate is designed with care. Our architecture blends into natural surroundings, our spaces are built to conserve energy and water, and our kitchens celebrate local produce through thoughtful, seasonal menus, that is our ‘Farm to Table’ philosophy. From removing single-use plastics to introducing wellness rituals rooted in Ayurveda, we’re constantly finding ways to create experiences that feel good and do good.

Our live kitchens reflect our commitment to transparency and food integrity. Our Aheli spa therapies are clean, conscious, and deeply rooted in nature. Most importantly, our teams carry this mindset within their hearts. This is how Roseate Hotels is shaping the future of eco-consciousness. One step at a time.

The hospitality industry is undergoing a powerful shift—moving away from excess and more toward purpose-driven experiences. As the world moves toward more conscious living, we’re proud to lead the way—offering guests a luxurious and meaningful, sustainable experience.

What challenges have you faced in implementing sustainable initiatives like the water farm, and how have these experiences shaped your approach to innovation within Roseate Hotels & Resorts?

One of the most significant challenges we’ve faced is shifting mindsets. True sustainability starts from within, and we realised early on that for any initiative to succeed, our team had to believe in it first.

For instance, when we introduced our courtyard farm and hydroponics systems, we began by offering the produce to our teams at privileged pricing. This simple move sparked curiosity and conversations around local, organic, and seasonal ingredients. It created a sense of ownership and pride, and gradually it led to deeper awareness about sustainable living.

Cost and mindset are always initial hurdles, but we’ve learned to view them as part of the innovation process. Hey eventually pay off in the larger picture. At Roseate, we don’t implement eco-conscious practices as standalone ideas—we embed them into our culture, starting with our people. Once our team embraces the vision, it naturally extends to our guests. This is how we innovate through empathy and adaptability.

Looking ahead, what are your key priorities for Roseate Hotels & Resorts over the next five years, both in terms of expansion and enhancing guest experiences?

Over the next five years, our vision is rooted in thoughtful expansion and deeper guest connection. We plan to add 2 to 3 experiential luxury properties every year, each offering something truly unique. Alongside this, we’re expanding our Roasted by Roseate café concept and ISKATE to bring our signature service and innovation to new audiences.

We’re also entering the high-end luxury apartment segment, catering to HNIs who value design, privacy, and curated living experiences. But beyond growth, our core focus remains on what we call the three E’s: Engagement, Experience, and Emotions. Every Roseate initiative—whether a hotel, café, or lifestyle offering—is designed to connect deeply with our guests and create lasting, meaningful memories.
