Raj Mehta continues his success high after Good Newwz and Jugjugg Jeeyo. Selfiee is making the box office register click, and, how! In fact, the audience is not only loving the film, but they are also enjoying watching Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s jig on the Mai Khiladi Tu Anari track which is a special treat for all movie lovers belonging to the ’90s decade.

Selfiee, one of the highly awaited Bollywood movies of the year 2023, was released in multiplexes yesterday. The Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer has clicked with audiences nationwide with box office sales rising rapidly amidst the buzz. Selfiee is adapted from the Malayalam dramedy Driving Licence which gained admiration for its intense plot, overloaded with thrilling drama. Based on the patron’s reactions on the first day, Selfiee seems to meet the expectations of the audience with its gripping storyline and top-notch performances. What’s more, the movie marks the first collaboration between two superstars, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. The movie is also making headlines for its remake of the 90s classic Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Yo Yo Honey Singh’s popular number Kudi Chamkeeli with Akshay and Emraan making the entire nation dance to their beats.

The movie has an ensemble of B’Towns best artists with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi as leads with Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty in supporting roles. The drama follows Om Prakash Aggarwal, an RTO Officer, played by Emraan Hashmi, a die-hard fan of Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar, played by Akshay Kumar, who needs to get a new driver’s license from the officer. Unfortunately, during the process, a misunderstanding occurs, sparking an intense battle of words between the two that escalates into a feud in front of the nation. Selfiee has perfectly captured the core of a celeb-fan bond, diving deep into a fan’s adoration and how it may sometimes backfire making Selfiee a worthy watch.

Selfiee was released today at PVR and INOX cinemas across the country and is already witnessing good advances from the first day. The movie is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, along with Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames.
