Shahid Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu are the faces of Vogue Eyewear‘s latest campaign. Taapsee has been with the brand for years, wearing everything from sharp cat-eye frames to bold geometric pieces that match her strong screen presence. Now, Shahid steps into the men’s category, bringing his signature understated cool to classic light metal squares that whisper sophistication and vibrant, irregular frames that shout confidence.
What makes this campaign truly captivating is the undeniable chemistry between these two stars, despite never having shared screen space before. They’re a fascinating blend of contrasts – Leo’s bold spirit meets Pisces’ intriguing mystery. But somehow that difference creates something special on camera.

The ‘No Rules Club’ campaign is really about personal style. Whether you connect with Taapsee’s classic Bollywood look or Shahid’s casual approach, the idea is the same: wear what feels right for you.
In this chat with TheGlitz, they talk openly about their style choices and what it was like working together for the first time. Taapsee shares why she loves frames with logo details, while Shahid explains his preference for clean, simple designs. Their conversation shows how two very different people can both embrace the idea of expressing themselves through what they wear.
When you put a Leo and a Pisces together to talk about style and breaking conventional rules, you get honest insights about fashion, confidence, and staying true to yourself. That’s what the No Rules Club is really about.
SHAHID KAPOOR’s Frame Of Mind

TheGlitz.Media: Shahid, as a Pisces, you’re supposedly intuitive and dreamy—do you choose frames that ground you or enhance that dreaminess?
Shahid: I think I look for eyewear that lets me stay dreamy but still feel present. My life is fast paced, but I function from a very internal, emotional space. So, the right frame helps me stay in touch with that softness, while also giving structure. It’s a bit of both—grounded dreaminess, if that makes sense.
Your fashion evolution has been quite the journey—do you think your eyewear choices have evolved more dramatically than your acting roles?
That’s a fun thought. In a way, yes. With acting, the evolution is gradual and role specific. But fashion—and especially eyewear—has been more unpredictable. It reflects who I am in real time. I’ve gone from barely noticing my frames to obsessing over what they communicate. So yes, there’s been more freedom and personal storytelling through that evolution.

You often play introspective characters—do you select glasses that help you look inward or outward?
A little bit of both. Outward as that’s the functionality. And inwards because I use style to express myself and my moods. Fashion helps gives unique perspective to self-expression.
As the newest face of Vogue Eyewear, what about ‘No Rules Club’ resonated with your personal style and self-expression?
The moment I heard the phrase ‘No Rules Club,’ I felt like I already belonged. That’s exactly how I’ve approached life and fashion. I don’t believe in being boxed in by trends or definitions. If it feels right, it is right. That kind of freedom, that authenticity, it’s very me.
“Style to me has always been about self-expression without boundaries. I’m excited to join Vogue Eyewear and to be part of its campaign, that encourages people to be themselves, unapologetically and without rules.”

TAAPSEE PANNU’S Vision Board

Taapsee, Leos love making a statement—do your bold eyewear choices come from your star sign’s influence?
Taapsee: Absolutely. I’ve always loved expressing myself through bold, sometimes unexpected fashion choices, and eyewear is a big part of that. A Leo loves to be remembered, and I want my glasses to do the same. They should enter the room before I do!
You’ve witnessed the Vogue Eyewear’s evolution firsthand—what collection has most aligned with your personal style revolution?
My Collab collection with brand is honestly my favorite because it finally puts a voice to something, I’ve always felt fashion should be about freedom. This collection doesn’t try to define “cool”, it invites you to define it yourself. That’s where I am in life and style right now. Also, this collection is featured in this this year’s Vogue Eyewear “No Rules Club’ campaign.

You’ve been with Vogue Eyewear for years—how has your relationship with eyewear as self-expression evolved alongside the brand’s journey?
Earlier, I looked at eyewear as a functional piece something to complete a look. But over time, especially with Vogue Eyewear, I started seeing it as the core of a look. It’s no longer an afterthought, it’s a statement. It reflects who I am, even when I’m saying nothing.
Your fashion sense is often praised for its effortless elegance—do you choose your glasses first or build outfits around them?
Glasses first, always. They frame your face, your mood, your entire vibe. Once I’ve picked the right frame, the outfit becomes more of a supporting cast. I’ve styled entire red carpet looks around one standout frame, it’s that powerful.
“Working with Vogue Eyewear has always been about embracing who I am — unfiltered and free”. She also shared her excitement about the collaboration in the new campaign, “Together we hope to inspire more people to own their style, their way.”

SHAHID – TAAPSEE Seeing Eye-To-Eye

The Vogue eyewear ‘No Rules Club’ campaign celebrates living life on your terms—what’s one fashion “rule” you’ve both broken and turned into your signature?
Taapsee: I stopped believing in ‘what flatters you’ ages ago. For the longest time, people told me certain styles or colours don’t suit me, but the moment I let go of those boxes, my wardrobe exploded in the best way. Now, if I like it, I wear it, whether it “works” or not.
Shahid: For me, mixing formal and casual was that moment. I love taking something classic like a well-fitted blazer and pairing it with sneakers or distressed denim. It’s not about rebellion; it’s about redefining what feels right. That’s my style rule: trust the vibe, not the manual.
If your eyewear could narrate your journey of self-expression, what would be the most pivotal chapter?
Taapsee: For me, it would be the shift from being overly conscious to completely unapologetic. I used to think about “blending in” or “not doing too much,” especially in public appearances. But as I grew into myself, eyewear became a tool to express exactly who I was that day, playful, bold, moody, whatever. That was the turning point.
Shahid: The most pivotal chapter would be when I realized style isn’t something you wear, it’s something you feel. I started choosing frames that mirrored what I was going through more minimally during quiet times, more angular when I wanted to assert something.
Complete this sentence: “Vogue Eyewear ‘No Rules Club’ to me means…”
Taapsee: …owning every part of yourself—loud, soft, fierce, flawed and letting your style reflect that without asking for permission.
Shahid: …dressing from the inside out, where every choice is a reflection of feeling, not expectation.
