Prerna Singla: Managing Partner, Vive Cosmetics and Mefoh Healthcare

Being a mother is a full-time job. Being an entrepreneur is, too. But doing both…with grace, grit, and a glowing skincare line in hand? That’s just another Monday for Prerna Singla.

As the powerhouse behind Mefoh Healthcare and Vive Cosmetics, Prerna Singla isn’t just building brands… she’s crafting legacies. With a sharp eye for Ayurvedic innovation and a heart tuned to the rhythms of motherhood, she’s proof that resilience can rock the world and still make the morning school run.

From transforming a small manufacturing unit into a respected FMCG player to raising two empathetic, independent kids along the way, her journey is equal parts hustle and heart. For Prerna, balance isn’t a buzzword, it’s a lifestyle. One that includes leading boardroom meetings by day and bedtime stories by night, often in the same breath.

This Mother’s Day week, we’re celebrating women like her… the ones who turn nap times into strategy sessions and teach their kids the ABCs of kindness and business acumen.

In an exclusive interview with TheGlitz, Prerna Singla talks about raising her business and babies with the same fierce love, the milestones that shaped her, and why presence always beats perfection.

Whats been the most rewarding part of your motherhood journey so far?
The most rewarding part has been watching my children grow up with the values I hold close—resilience, empathy, and independence. Knowing that I’ve raised kind, curious individuals while simultaneously building a business from scratch gives me an unmatched sense of pride. I’ve often brought them into my world of work, and seeing them understand and respect what I do has been incredibly fulfilling.

How do you tackle challenges, and what are three milestones that define your journey?

Challenges are a constant companion in entrepreneurship and motherhood. I tackle them with clarity, a calm mind, and relentless optimism.
Three defining milestones in my journey would be:

  1. Launching my manufacturing company from a small unit and scaling it into a recognized entity.
  2. Navigating the business through an economic downturn while staying profitable—and present at home.
  3. Building a work culture that supports working mothers and women in leadership roles, creating ripple effects beyond my own journey.

How do you strike that beautiful balance between work and home life?
I’ve learned that balance isn’t about splitting hours evenly—it’s about being fully present wherever I am. In the boardroom, I lead as a CEO; at home, I show up wholeheartedly. Clear delegation, firm boundaries, and a strong support system keep me grounded. Most importantly, I’ve let go of the pursuit of perfection and embraced the power of presence.

My TheGlitz quote is…
