Some women inherit legacy. Exceptional women expand it. Devyani Jaipuria is one such force — an educationist, philanthropist, business leader, and changemaker who has seamlessly balanced influence with impact.

Devyani Jaipuria embodies a powerful blend of legacy, purpose, and modern motherhood. Her perspective is deeply shaped by the timeless values passed down by her mother, Dhara Jaipuria, while also being enriched by her own journey of raising children in today’s fast-evolving world. Through this balance, she champions independence, emotional resilience, compassion, and the belief that motherhood is one of life’s greatest leadership schools.

Carrying forward her mother’s vision, Devyani continues to create meaningful impact through Pravah, a skills centre for the economically disadvantaged, dedicated to empowering individuals with opportunities, confidence, and future-ready capabilities. Her journey is a reminder that true legacy is not inherited — it is built through action, heart, and the courage to uplift others.

But beyond every boardroom title and institution-building role stands the identity she values most — mother.

What struck TheGlitz deeply was her clarity when she said motherhood made her softer, more aware, and far more present. In a world that often glorifies power as toughness, Devyani reminds us that empathy, love, and patience are strengths of the highest order. She speaks of success not merely as achievement, but as the quality of relationships we build along the way — a perspective that defines true leadership.

Her reflections on parenting were equally powerful: children do not remember how busy you were, they remember how present you were. That wisdom captures the essence of today’s woman who may lead companies and causes, yet understands that the most meaningful legacy is emotional security, love, and time given wholeheartedly.

At TheGlitz, we chose Devyani Jaipuria as part of TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026 because she embodies grace under pressure, ambition with empathy, and leadership anchored in heart. She proves that women do not have to choose between nurturing families and shaping institutions — they can do both with brilliance.

And that is why Devyani Jaipuria is a true TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026.

Over To TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026 Devyani Jaipuria

You wear many hats — mother, leader, achiever. Which role has surprised you the most, and why?

Motherhood, without any doubt, has been the most surprising experience for me. No other leadership position can equip you for the emotional involvement, vulnerability, and patience required in being a mother. In the professional world, you can plan, strategise, and measure outcomes.

But with children, every day teaches you something unexpected about yourself. My children have made me softer, more aware, and far more present. They constantly remind me that success is not just about achievement; it’s about the relationships we build along the way as well.

In a world that celebrates hustle, how do you create meaningful moments of pause and connection with your children?
I’ve realised that children don’t remember how busy you were — they remember how present you were. Through the years, I have consciously attempted to form small rituals that help me stay connected with them. It may be sharing meals together, traveling as a family, or just having meaningful conversations without any distractions.

Despite our packed schedules, I make sure that I take time to really listen. In fact, some of the best times we share together happen when we least expect them — a conversation during a drive, sharing a laugh at dinner, or checking in at the end of the day. Those pauses keep us grounded as a family.

What is one life lesson motherhood has taught you that no business school or boardroom ever could?
Being a mother opened my eyes to see that empathy and love are qualities of strength, not weakness. In any business, we tend to emphasize performance, productivity, and results. However, motherhood revealed the significance of empathy, patience, and support. It also made me realize that every individual grows at their own pace.

As a parent, you learn to guide without controlling, and support without expecting perfection. That perspective has deeply influenced the way I lead people and build institutions as well.

If your children had to describe you in three words, what do you think they would say… and what would you hope they say?
I think they would probably describe me as caring, disciplined, and dependable. I’ve always tried to create a balance between being nurturing and giving them strong values to stand on independently.

What I would hope they say, however, is that I made them feel loved, heard, and supported — because at the end of the day, that matters far more to me than any title or accomplishment.

What does being “TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026” mean to you in today’s world — perfection, resilience, reinvention, or something else entirely?
It is not about perfection for me. Modern motherhood is about being resilient and adaptable, coming back every day with integrity and love. Women today have multiple roles that they juggle and still manage to nourish their families, careers, and society with immense strength.

For me, being a “TheGlitzMegaSuperMom” means accepting yourself for who you are, including all of your imperfections, while still continuing to grow, evolve, and lead with compassion. It’s about raising emotionally secure children while also staying true to your own identity and aspirations. That balance, despite its imperfections, is an achievement worth celebrating.
