TheGlitz was invited to what can only be described as a delightfully decadent, wine-soaked evening to taste some incredible California Wines at Late Checkout… and let’s just say, we’re still swooning.

Hosted in association with the California Wine Institute, the evening was elevated (quite literally2) by the effortlessly charming Nikhil Agarwal, Founder of All Things Nice, one of the forces behind The Wine Cellar, ProWine Mumbai and Anggel’s Share, turned out to be nothing short of a revelation. One moment he was your suave wine connoisseur, the next… quiz master extraordinaire, dishing out trivia with a side of wit and mischief that had everyone hooked.

It wasn’t just about swirling, sniffing, and sipping some excellent wines (there were three fab wines introduced – Morgan Bay Cellars Chardonnay, California, USA, Morgan Bay Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon, California, USA, and Rutherford Ranch Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, California, USA). It was about stories, laughter, unexpected conversations, and discovering that wine, much like great company, only gets better with time. The canapés were delightful, the wines were exceptional, and the vibe… Impeccably high-spirited.
