The Face Company

Visionaries behind India’s aesthetic wellness revolution, The Face Company, Founders Payal and Vikrant Goyal have redefined beauty with a holistic, clinical-meets-indulgence approach that’s raising the bar across the industry. With Payal’s deep-rooted flair for brand storytelling, sensory design, and guest experience, and Vikrant’s sharp operational acumen and strategic foresight, the duo brings together a rare synergy of creativity and precision. Drawing inspiration from global excellence and filling a long-overdue gap in India’s beauty landscape, they have transformed The Face Company into a rousing movement.

Here, in an exclusive interview with Sumita Chakraborty, Editor-in-Chief, TheGlitz, Payal and Vikrant Goyal of The Face Company share their journey, vision, and what it truly means to create a space where science meets serenity.

Over To Payal and Vikrant Goyal, Founders, The Face Company

The Face Company is positioned as more than just a beauty destination; it’s a complete aesthetic wellness experience. What was the inspiration behind creating this concept, and how did the idea evolve?
The Face Company was born from our own experiences seeking world-class aesthetic services abroad—particularly in the UAE—only to find a gap in comparable offerings at home. We envisioned a space where clinical precision meets artistic excellence, underpinned by international hygiene standards and a calming, spa-like atmosphere. Over many months, we researched global best practices, partnered with international masters, and rigorously tested protocols to evolve that vision into the bespoke aesthetic-wellness destination you see today.

From facial workouts to nail restoration and organic hair rituals, your offerings blend clinical science with indulgence. How do you strike that balance between results-driven treatments and sensory luxury?
Every treatment—from facial workouts and nail restoration to organic hair rituals—is rooted in evidence-based protocols such as RF-powered facials and enzyme-driven therapies. Around that clinical backbone, we layer sensory elements: soft lighting, curated aromatherapy, artisanal textures, and personalized ritual touches. Guests also enjoy our indulgent refreshment menu—signature mocktails, antioxidant-rich herbal teas, and chef-crafted healthy bites—further enhancing the sensory journey. This dual approach ensures measurable outcomes alongside the indulgent calm of a luxury retreat.

Aesthetic wellness is still an emerging category in India. How are you educating your clientele and reshaping perceptions around treatments that go beyond surface beauty?
We believe an informed guest is an empowered guest. That’s why we offer complimentary doctor-led consultations and AI-driven skin analyses to demystify advanced treatments, generate personalized reports and prepare tailored treatment roadmaps. On Instagram and WhatsApp, we run live Q&A sessions, expert takeovers, and behind-the-scenes looks at our technology in action. In-studio, we provide interactive skin education moments—where therapists visually demonstrate skin layers, device mechanics, and home-care best practices. This multi-channel strategy demystifies advanced treatments, transforms aesthetic wellness into an accessible choice, and builds lasting trust with our guests.

You’ve brought together an impressive range of services under one roof. What was the process of curating this menu like, and what makes your approach different from traditional salons or clinics?

We followed a multi-phase curation process:

·         Global trend audit: Identified leading protocols in semi-permanent makeup, face workouts, and advanced skin transformations.

·         Expert workshops: Brought together doctors, aesthetic therapists, and brand strategists to align on safety, efficacy, and sensory appeal.

·         Pilot testing: Ran trial sessions with select clients, collected quantitative outcome data and qualitative feedback.

·         Iterative refinement: Optimized each protocol—down to massage techniques and product formulations—ensuring every service delivers on our promise of results and indulgence.

·         Final integration: Packaged offerings into a cohesive menu, delivered with medical-grade products and international hygiene standards—even for the simplest salon rituals.
This rigorous approach elevates daily grooming and salon services into science-backed, clinically supervised experiences that go far beyond conventional beauty treatments.

The Face Company has a strong design and sensorial identity. How important was it for you to create a space that feels both luxurious and approachable… and what did that design process look like?
Design was paramount. We worked with a renowned interior designer to craft a serene yet sophisticated environment: warm neutrals, tactile natural materials, diffused lighting, and sculptural accents that whisper rather than shout. Client walkthroughs and prototyping sessions ensured the space feels aspirational and immediately welcoming.

Many women are looking for beauty solutions that are not just skin-deep but also restorative. What are some of the most transformative client stories or feedback you’ve received so far?
One standout success is our DermaPen 4 microneedling series, which dramatically improves textured and acne-scarred skin. Another is microblading for brows—an instant facial symmetry lift that boosts confidence to another level. Across treatments, guests consistently tell us the benefits extend beyond aesthetics to a deeper sense of well-being and boosted confidence, leading to higher self esteem.

As Co-Founders and as a couple, how do you divide roles, bring your individual strengths to the table, and keep the vision aligned while building a brand together?

We each bring distinct strengths: Payal leads brand vision, design, and guest experience; Vikrant oversees operations, finance, and strategic partnerships. We bring complementary skills from years of partnership across multiple businesses in India and Overseas. Having built a professional rhythm, we fit together like puzzle pieces—each filling the other’s gaps—so we can execute vision and operations seamlessly keeping our shared mission—transforming India’s beauty landscape—firmly in view.

What’s next for The Face Company? Are you looking at expansion, collaborations, or perhaps setting new benchmarks in aesthetic wellness that India hasn’t seen yet?
First, we’ll set new benchmarks in aesthetic wellness India hasn’t seen yet: making face workouts synonymous with The Face Company, spreading awareness about quality aesthetics, informed decision-making, and intentional clinical skincare—pampering guests to the fullest. Simultaneously, we’ll expand across Delhi NCR, aiming for six branches in the next five years to make world-class aesthetic wellness accessible to all.
