Alite Anti-Acne Face Wash and Alite Anti-Acne Gel

When Alite sent TheGlitz its acne-fighting duo — the Alite Anti-Acne Face Wash and Alite Anti-Acne Gel — for review, we were curious… and cautiously optimistic. Why? …Because the skincare world is overflowing with “miracle” acne products that either dry your face into the Thar Desert or leave your skin angrily plotting revenge via more breakouts.

So yes, we tested them. Morning routines, post-shoot makeup removal, Mumbai humidity, stress breakouts — the works. And surprisingly? This duo held its own very well. Read on…

Alite Anti-Acne Face Wash

Alite

Let’s start with the star cleanser… The Alite Anti-Acne Face Wash. This product comes loaded with encapsulated charcoal, sebum control enzymes and ceramides — basically a dream team for oily, acne-prone skin. The face wash promises five-in-one action: unclogging pores, exfoliating skin, controlling sebum, delivering antioxidant protection and reducing acne severity. Big claims. But here’s the thing — it lives up to its promises as the face wash actually feels like skincare instead of punishment.

TheGlitz loved that this is a soap-free cleanser. Unlike many charcoal face washes that leave your skin stretched tighter than your deadlines, this one cleans deeply without stripping the skin barrier. The encapsulated charcoal works beautifully in lifting grime, oil and pollution off the skin, especially after long city days and makeup-heavy shoots.

…And the ceramides? Huge plus. Acne products often forget that irritated skin needs comfort too. This one remembers.

Texture-wise, it’s lightweight, non-gooey and refreshingly fuss-free. After using it consistently for a week, the skin feels cleaner, calmer and visibly less oily — but not unnaturally matte. There’s a healthy balance to it. Think “fresh-faced glow” instead of “I scrubbed my face with industrial detergent.”

At ₹250 for 70 gm, TheGlitz thinks this is genuinely impressive value, especially for younger consumers and skincare beginners wanting an effective daily acne cleanser without spending luxury-serum money.

Alite Anti-Acne Gel

Now let’s talk about the second product — Alite Anti-Acne Gel – the treatment player. The is where the brand gets serious about active breakouts.

Powered by 5% Niacinamide PC, 1% Contacticel and 6% Silanediol Salicylate, this gel is designed to tackle oiliness, calm inflammation and reduce acne severity without nuking your skin barrier.

TheGlitz tested this especially during stress-breakout days. The first thing we noticed? The texture. No sticky residue. No suffocating layer. No weird medicinal smell screaming “emergency skincare mode.”

Instead, the gel feels feather-light and absorbs quickly, making it incredibly easy to wear under moisturiser, sunscreen or makeup.

The niacinamide works extremely smoothly to reduce redness and calm irritated skin, while the Silanediol Salicylate quietly gets to work on clogged pores and angry pimples. Over consistent use, the skin appears smoother, less inflamed and far less chaotic.

What TheGlitz particularly appreciated was that neither product tries too hard to be aggressive. The formulas feel modern, balanced and realistic for daily use. This isn’t the old-school “burn the acne away” philosophy. It’s smarter skincare — treat the problem while respecting the skin.

Together, the duo – Alite Anti-Acne Face Wash and Alite Anti-Acne Gel – works best as a tag team. The face wash deeply cleanses and resets the skin, while the gel steps in like a calm, efficient problem-solver targeting active concerns.

TheGlitz Verdict

Alite

We must say the Alite’s Anti-Acne duo surprised us — in the best way possible. The products feel thoughtfully formulated, affordable and genuinely effective without the drama many acne products bring along.

The Anti-Acne Face Wash is perfect for oily, combination and breakout-prone skin needing a daily detox without dryness, while the Anti-Acne Gel is an easy-to-use treatment that slips seamlessly into modern skincare routines.

Fun, functional and refreshingly non-harsh — this duo proves acne care doesn’t have to feel like a battle anymore.
