Gunjan Taneja, Co – Founder, Uclean

Dynamic, grounded, and deeply relatable, Gunjan Taneja represents the modern woman who is redefining success on her own terms — balancing entrepreneurship, leadership, and motherhood with honesty, resilience, and heart. As the Co-founder of UClean, Gunjan has transformed an everyday chore into a revolutionary service-driven business model, giving families something invaluable in today’s fast-paced world: more time together.

But beyond boardrooms, business strategies, and scaling one of India’s most recognized laundry service brands, Gunjan’s most transformative role has been motherhood. A self-confessed planner and achiever, she admits that nothing prepared her for the unpredictability of raising children — a journey that stretched her patience, deepened her empathy, and showed her that not everything in life can or should be controlled.

What makes Gunjan truly inspiring is her refreshing authenticity. She doesn’t chase the illusion of being the “perfect” supermom. Instead, she believes in the power of presence — in stolen moments of laughter during school drives, no-phone dinners, bedtime music rituals, and simply showing up wholeheartedly, even amidst chaos. For her, motherhood is not about flawless balance; it is about emotional connection, consistency, and creating a safe space where her children always feel loved and protected.

At the heart of her entrepreneurial philosophy lies the same belief that defines her parenting — making life easier and more meaningful for people. Through UClean, she has empowered local entrepreneurs while helping countless families reclaim precious time from everyday routines. It is leadership driven not just by ambition, but by empathy and understanding — qualities motherhood strengthened within her.

Fearless yet nurturing, disciplined yet soft-hearted, Gunjan embodies the spirit of TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026 — a woman who embraces reinvention over perfection. She is proof that modern motherhood is not about doing everything flawlessly, but about having the courage to evolve, adapt, and keep showing up with love, strength, and grace.

…And perhaps her greatest title of all is the one her children gave her themselves: “My Safe Space.”

Over To Gunjan Taneja, Co – Founder, Uclean

You wear many hats — mother, leader, achiever. Which role has surprised you the most, and why?

Honestly? The “mother” hat. In the boardroom, I’m used to being in control, looking at data, and predicting the next move. But kids don’t follow a business plan. Motherhood surprised me by showing me how much I could grow—it stretched my patience and my heart in ways no startup ever could. It’s the one role where I’m perfectly okay with not having all the answers.

In a world that celebrates hustle, how do you create meaningful moments of pause and connection with your children?

Gunjan

I’ve stopped aiming for “perfect” hours and started leaning into “stolen” minutes. It’s the 15 minutes of singing in the car on the way to school or the “no-phone” rule during dinner. I’ve realized that my kids don’t need me to be a “Supermom” every second; they just need me to be there, completely present, even if it’s just for a little while.

What is one life lesson motherhood has taught you that no business school or boardroom ever could?

That you can’t “manage” everything. Business schools teach you to optimize, but motherhood teaches you to embrace the mess. It taught me that sometimes the most chaotic moments—the spilled milk, the last-minute school projects—are where the real memories are made. It’s taught me empathy, which is the most underrated skill in leadership.

What is the philosophy behind UClean?

UClean started with a very simple thought: “How can we make life easier for the everyday person?” We wanted to take a chore that everyone hates—laundry—and turn it into a professional service that gives people their weekends back. At its core, it’s about community and time. We’re helping local entrepreneurs build their own businesses while helping families spend less time at the washing machine and more time together.

If your children had to describe you in three words, what do you think they would say… and what would you hope they say?

The three words in which my child would describe me would be – Tigress, Mumma will know what to do, My Safe Space. I am happy with these titles. I think I have worked hard for it and I don’t want to be modest about it.

What does being “TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026” mean to you in today’s world — perfection, resilience, reinvention, or something else entirely?

It’s definitely Reinvention. For a long time, we were told we had to be perfect at everything. Now, in 2026, I think we’ve realized that’s exhausting. To me, it’s about the courage to keep changing—to be a leader today, a soft place to land for my kids tonight, and someone who isn’t afraid to start over tomorrow if things didn’t go as planned.
