As a part of TheGlitzMegaStarMom initiative, could you tell us about the magical moments of your journey as a MegaStar Mom and what TheGlitzMega StarMom initiative means to you?

Firstly, thank you so much for thinking of us worthy of your prestigious platform on ‘TheGlitzMegaStarMom’. Truly means so much to us as we moms are constantly striving to strike a balance between work life and parenthood. I think all mothers are mega stars in so many ways! I guess for me, it is personally trying to do my best keeping my priorities in place for being both a mom as well as a working mom.

Could you describe your experiences as a momfluencer/ mompreneur? Pick out three of fave moments with your little ones.

Being a mompreneur is extremely important for me as that also teaches my 9-year-old daughter Myrah to become independent and to follow her passions & dream. It is crucial to learn every single day for yourself which not only helps you grow as a person but also truly feels liberating. My 9-year-old supports me through my work and cooperates with me when we have a show and that encourages me to only work harder. She is a little diva always suggesting ideas for colours ‘n’ shapes on new collections and curious about questions like sustainability trends etc. Every moment is special with her but we both love to explore the city where we live in. Sundays are meant to visit museums. My date night with her on Fridays over sushi, keeps us connected. She’s the best travel partner I could have ever had as she loves to learn and discover new places.

Tell us about the challenges and rewards of running a successful business or being an influencer while being a mother.

I guess when you are a hands-on mom, you want to be at school to pick up and drop off your child. But at the same time, there’s a meeting at work that can’t be avoided so sometimes, things get tricky to manage. But Myrah being a top priority, I try to work around rescheduling accordingly. The best part is having a partner/ sis Rima Kapadia to look into important matters when I have commitments with Myrah and visa versa… Her 18-year-old boy, Aaryah is going to university soon and that means I will have to dedicate more time to work. Since we are two partners, it’s less of a challenge in that sense that it’s satisfying to know that we have each other’s back and while I bring in my managerial skills, she brings in the creativity for the brand.
