Suniel Shetty is over the moon!  His daughter Athiya Shetty and cricketer K L Rahul are finally tying the knot today – January 23, 2023. And that is indeed good news! After a couple of years of living together, Athiya and K L Rahul decided that they definitely were meant to be together forever and so he popped the question… not that he didn’t know the answer… And Athiya said ‘Yes’! And after that, papa Suniel Shetty took over. And all the band baaja and baraat were organised faster than the ball from K L Rahul’s deft fingers whizzing many yards down the pitch to knock out the opponent batsman.

And though the couple is staying mum, papa Suniel Shetty is grinning like a Cheshire cat even though he refuses to comment.  The wedding is today. While KL Rahul’s Mumbai residence is lit up like a Christmas tree, the marriage with all the traditional Shetty rituals is taking place at Suniel Shetty’s opulent bungalow in picturesque Khandala. There isn’t too much ‘shoo sha’ for the marriage ceremony as the couple has invited just a few close intimate friends and family but the reception will be a huge one, they say.
