Arjun Kapoor: Malaika Replaced?

But wait – did Malaika Arora just get replaced? Not quite, but Arjun’s “man crush” on Hrithik has certainly caught everyone’s attention! When asked who he’d want to build a boat with on a deserted island, Arjun didn’t hesitate. “Hrithik Roshan, of course!” he laughed. “He’s such a perfectionist, he’d make sure the boat was as chiselled as his body. Plus, I have a man crush on him. He could take his t-shirt off, and I’d just stare. He could lift the boat, and me, and we’d sail away together!”

We don’t know about you, but that’s a movie we’d love to see!

But Hrithik isn’t the only Bollywood star Kapoor is relying on for his island adventures. When asked who he’d want to survive with, Kapoor took the question in true dramatic style and picked none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Because when it comes to survival, why not bring along Bollywood’s King Khan?

Arjun & SRK

“I feel like Shah Rukh could survive anything,” Kapoor shared with a grin. “He’s so intelligent and sorted, he’d figure things out. He could literally open his arms, and a boat would appear to rescue us! Pathaan could protect me, and Raj would bring love and positivity to the island. It’s the perfect combo.”

Who knew a deserted island could sound so romantic and cinematic? Arjun clearly has his survival plans mapped out—no fishing rods or coconuts needed, just Bollywood superstars and a whole lot of charisma!

Arjun on Underrated Flops & More

As the interview continued, Kapoor gave us even more gems, including his thoughts on his own films. He expressed a strong desire to see Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar re-released, calling it an “underrated gem” that didn’t get the attention it deserved. “It’s one of those films that got lost in the big world of summer blockbusters and Bollywood theatricals,” he said. “But the performances, the story, its relevance—it deserves more love.”

Arjun’s passion for the film was clear, but he wasn’t done yet. He also gave a shout-out to Ishaqzaade, the film that launched his career. “It’s always a great watch, especially the interval and redemption scenes,” Kapoor noted with pride. It’s obvious that Arjun holds a special place in his heart for his early work, and fans still can’t get enough of his fiery debut!

Speaking of love, Kapoor also took a moment to gush over one of his all-time favourite films—Hera Pheri. Presented with IMDb’s Top 250 Highest Rated Indian Movies poster, Arjun was quick to name the comedy classic as one of his favourites. “It’s a cult classic,” he said, beaming. “I saw it in theatres and went back two days in a row to watch it again.”

Quoting iconic lines like “Utha le” and Paresh Rawal’s hilarious “Ladki ko kaise uthalu,” Kapoor reminded us all why Hera Pheri remains a timeless gem in Bollywood’s comedy genre. “The dialogues, the characters—it’s brilliant! You just can’t beat it.”

Arjun’s Man Crush

But of course, the conversation wasn’t over without Kapoor sneaking in another mention of his “man crush” on Hrithik Roshan. Yep, in case you missed it the first time, Arjun made sure to remind us that he’d happily sail away with Hrithik’s perfectly chiselled arms guiding the boat!

To sum it all up, Arjun Kapoor’s Burning Questions interview was a mix of hilarious bromances, Bollywood nostalgia, and survival strategies that would make any reality show jealous. With SRK’s smarts, Hrithik’s muscles, and Arjun’s wit, it’s safe to say this Bollywood dream team could survive anything—even a deserted island!
