Your journey has had many momentous milestones. Could you tell us about the life-changing milestones that have moulded you into what you are today?

Yes, My journey has been marked by several momentous milestones, each contributing to the person I am today. The first pivotal moment was getting into MBBS and entering the world of medicine. This phase not only equipped me with the knowledge and skills essential for my profession but also instilled in me a profound sense of empathy. It taught me to connect with people on a deeper level while also fostering emotional resilience – a crucial trait in the demanding field of healthcare.

The second transformative milestone was the experience of becoming a parent. Welcoming children into my life was a profound lesson in patience, understanding, and unconditional love. Parenthood has been a journey of continuous learning, emphasizing the importance of empathy, communication, and adaptability – qualities that extend beyond the realm of family into my professional and personal interactions.

The third significant milestone was venturing into entrepreneurship. This journey demanded a unique set of skills – the ability to hold tight during challenges, surge forward in the face of uncertainties, and be exceptionally flexible and agile. Entrepreneurship taught me to navigate uncharted waters, make strategic decisions, and embrace change with a resilient spirit.

Setbacks are inevitable, each presenting unique challenges that have tested my resolve. There were few setbacks during the initial stages of entrepreneurship when I was faced with unexpected market shifts. In response, I adopted a proactive approach, reassessed our business strategy, and made agile adjustments to align with the evolving landscape. This experience underscored the importance of adaptability and the need to stay ahead of industry trends. Resilience, tenacity and strong belief in oneself are very essential qualities that an entrepreneur must have.

When you look back, what are the three qualities in you that have helped you become what you are today?

As I reflect on my journey , three qualities stand out as pillars that have shaped my career. Firstly, confidence & personal conviction has played a pivotal role in navigating the challenges inherent in the healthcare profession. Confidence allows me to approach each situation with assurance, ensuring that I can make informed decisions and provide the best care possible.

Secondly, the ability to work under tremendous pressure & take quick decisions, has been a crucial asset throughout my career. Medicine & now entrepreneurship, are fields where high-stakes situations can arise unexpectedly, and being able to maintain composure and focus during these times is essential. The capacity to handle pressure and tough times has enabled me to make sound judgments and move on even in the most demanding circumstances.

Thirdly, hard work has been the bedrock of my professional journey. Continuous learning, dedication, a strong work ethic, long hours, rigorous training, and staying updated with the latest advancements are all part of the journey.

Who are the people who have been the wind behind your wings?

Embracing change and challenges has been a guiding principle in my life, and it’s a philosophy deeply influenced by the unwavering support of my parents, the strength I draw from my husband Dr. Manohar Reddy, the wisdom imparted by my in-laws, and the invaluable mentorship of figures like Dr. Prabhakar Reddy, eminent Radiologist & Dr. G S Rao, MD of Yashoda Group of Hospitals. Their encouragement and belief in me have fuelled my resilience and self-belief, allowing me to navigate uncertainties with confidence.

My brothers Sreeram Reddy Vanga and Brahma Nanda Reddy Vanga, have been pillars of unwavering strength and support for me and are a source of motivation and constant inspiration. In this journey, I’ve come to realize that success is not just an individual pursuit but a collective outcome of the relationships, mentorship, and steadfast support from those who believe in your potential. By embracing change alongside the pillars of my life and learning from mentors, success has become a natural companion on this transformative path.”

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?

The quote that would define me would be something like – “Embrace change and challenges, move forward with unwavering resilience and self-belief and In doing so, success has no choice but to follow you.
