The team

Your journey has had many momentous milestones. Could you tell us about the life-changing milestones that have moulded you to be what you are today?

My life-changing milestones so far have been-
• Securing admission and realizing my dream of studying fashion at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), a testament to the belief that our most cherished dreams can indeed come true.
• Crossing paths with my husband, hailing from a vastly different background, which became a transformative journey filled with learning, humility, and a profound shift in perspective, broadening my understanding of the world.
• Embracing motherhood and becoming a parent to three children, an experience that bestowed upon me abundant patience, resilience, and a deep well of inspiration to navigate the beautiful complexities of family life.

What are the setbacks you have faced? How did you tackle these setbacks or challenges? What lesson have you learned from it?

I consider myself an inherently positive and motivated individual, consistently feeling fortunate for the alignment of circumstances in my life, even when they may not have seemed favourable initially. I have successfully navigated through every challenge, grounded in my unwavering belief that each experience is a crucial part of a broader plan. In the words of the renowned SRK, “picture Abhi Baki hai” (the movie is not over yet), I hold onto the optimism that if things are not yet falling into place, it’s because the best is yet to come.

A profound lesson that life has taught me is encapsulated in the notion that “what you seek is seeking you,” assuring me that persistence in my pursuits will eventually lead to the fulfillment of my aspirations.

When you look back, what are the three qualities in you that have helped you become what you are today?

Gratitude, passion and infinite belief.

Who are the people who have been the wind behind your wings?

My husband, my brother, my parents, and my dedicated team have collectively been the wind beneath my wings, providing unwavering support throughout my endeavours.

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?

“You are the universe in ecstatic motion!”

When a dynamic filmmaker known for punchlines, pop culture instincts, and blockbuster entertainment suddenly walks into a newsroom, you know one thing for certain — business as usual is officially over. One year after its landmark launch at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025, Women in Film India returned to Cannes 2026 with purpose, momentum, and something even more meaningful: continuity. There’s a certain kind of silence in the jungle that luxury hotels can never manufacture. A silence broken only by rustling leaves, distant birdsong, the soft crackle of a bonfire, and somewhere far away, the low warning call that signals a tiger is near. As dawn light spills across the golden forests of the National Park, the world suddenly feels slower, quieter, almost suspended in time — and perhaps that’s exactly why some of the world’s most visible people are escaping into the wild. At TheGlitz, we believe this is where luxury stops performing and starts feeling.
On International Tea Day, the humble chai break gets its moment — and it turns out this small, unhurried pause from screens may be doing more for your eyesight than any wellness product you have ever bought. We live in what Dr. Himanshu Mehta, senior ophthalmologist at ASG The Vission Eye Center, calls a phygital world, where the physical and digital have become so tangled that stepping away takes a conscious effort. "It is the simple pleasures that help us step away from screens and reconnect with people and nature," he says. "The ubiquitous chai break is a perfect example of engaging with people while also giving a break to our eyes."
