Swati Jain – Director, The Banyan
Visionary Leader | Women’s Empowerment Advocate | Wharton CHRO Alum

Swati Jain is the embodiment of modern leadership with heart. As Director of The Banyan, she has transformed early childhood education and childcare into something far more powerful — a support system that helps families thrive and women return to work with confidence. Through her visionary leadership, she has built nurturing ecosystems for children, meaningful careers for women, and people-first spaces rooted in trust, care, and growth.

But beyond the boardrooms, partnerships, and impressive milestones, Swati’s most profound role remains motherhood. As a mother of three children at beautifully different life stages, she speaks candidly about the art of staying close while learning to let go — a balancing act every mother knows, yet few articulate so gracefully. Her words reflect wisdom, emotional intelligence, and the quiet strength of raising independent children while continuing to evolve alongside them.

What deeply resonated with TheGlitz was Swati’s belief that motherhood is not about controlling outcomes, but about showing up, adapting, and learning through every season. Whether it is baking together, travelling for tournaments, playing pickleball, or simply creating moments of connection amidst busy lives, she proves that presence matters more than perfection.

That extraordinary blend of resilience, reinvention, compassion, and leadership is exactly why TheGlitz proudly celebrates Swati Jain as part of TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026.

…Because some women do not just raise children — they raise futures, workplaces, communities, and possibilities. Swati Jain is one of them.

Over To Swati Jain – Director, The Banyan

You wear many hats — mother, leader, achiever. Which role has surprised you the most, and why?

Being a mother, without a doubt, is always evolving. With three kids at very different stages, one building her own brand, one working with a luxury brand, and one athlete heading to university soon. I’m still learning how to stay close without holding on too tightly, and that’s been the biggest shift for me. It’s not easy, but it feels right when you see them carving out their own paths and becoming who they’re meant to be.

In a world that celebrates hustle, how do you create meaningful moments of pause and connection with your children?

We’re all busy with our own routines and work, so I try to create time together. I find small moments whether it’s a game of pickleball, watching a movie, or just baking together. We all love travelling, so we take short breaks sometimes all together, sometimes one-on-one whether it’s for tournaments, long weekends, or even birthdays. Those moments stay with you and build a different kind of connection over time. This helps me connect with each of them in their own way.

What is one life lesson motherhood has taught you that no business school or boardroom ever could?

That every child is different, and what works for one doesn’t always work for another and that, somewhere along the way, you’re growing too. It teaches you acceptance, perspective, and the ability to step back when needed, which is something no school or boardroom really prepares you for.

If your children had to describe you in three words, what do you think they would say… and what would you hope they say?

They’d probably say: soft, busy, multitasking I’d hope they say: present, trusting, and grounding someone they feel comfortable coming back to, no matter what.

What does being “TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026” mean to you in today’s world — perfection, resilience, reinvention, or something else entirely?

For me, it’s really about resilience and constantly evolving learning, unlearning, and growing with your children through every stage. It’s not about perfection, but about showing up, adapting, and finding your footing along the way.
