Over To Anu Aggarwal

You are not just a powerhouse actor, you are also a yogi, humanitarian and so much more. So what defines you as a woman?

Thank you for the accolades. I am a human first and a woman later. I refuse to limit my ‘beingness’ by addressing myself as a woman and a woman alone. I am a woman but I am not confined to boundaries of gender. I Am, is a mantra, which transcends gender. What defines me is the fact that I can value my feminine qualities of caring, forgiveness and love for the opposite gender even in times, when I may feel betrayed by gender identification.

Anu Aggarwal Says

Anu Aggarwal

Are you a strong woman who has held her ground no matter what or a firebrand feminist? Or both? Why?

Being a sports person, I was scheduled to join and play for the Women’s State Basketball team, I learned early on how to hold my ground even when defeated. …To full-heartedly clap, without any ill feeling for the opposite team who won. I learned with meditation. I have always wanted and fought for my space to be my true self in any situation. I am not a feminist, I love all… you could brand me a humanist.

Lastly, if there was a quote to define you, what would it be?
Know thyself. To know the worst times are your best friends, to teach you your own strength,
