Shreyasi Das has a very unique story to tell about her journey from being Cabin Crew at Jet Airways to being the Founder of 7 Sins. In Shreyasi’s words told to TheGlitz, “The initiative of ‘The Glitz Super Woman’ is commendable as women who are striving each day to make it happen, need recognition for their achievements and sacrifices alike. This in turn will motivate others to follow suit.”

Life Journey

Shreyasi begins, “I started my journey as a Cabin crew with Jet Airways after getting my diploma from Frankfinn Institute & Bournemouth University England. I then followed up my career working in Public relations with companies like ITC Sonar, JW Marriott, Asian International School until I built my own start-up dealing in marketing, promotional work and branding with 7 sins.

“My life took a turn when I got the chance to study aviation and hospitality at Frankfinn Institute. It was because of their rigorous training that I was hired by Jet Airways.

Being a cabin crew meant round-the-clock work and being committed to such work based away from home, made me more independent and self-sufficient. My ambition for setting up 7 sins somehow seeded in me during those initial days of struggle. And of course, once I set up up 7 sins, there was no looking back for me.”

Setbacks & Challenges

Shreyasi avers, “The setbacks I have faced are minor which I believe almost every newcomer will face, i.e domination, workload and a reality check on life. Determination and a will to not give up, no matter what are the main reasons I came along this far.”

Qualities That Make Me Shine

Shreyasi lists, “Qualities which I really believe have helped me grow are consistency, passion and a never-ending ambition to do something worthwhile.”

Wind Beneath My Wings

“My parents have been the driving force of power for me. My father never denied me an opportunity to explore myself. He financed every study I wanted to pursue. My mother is the person who made me believe in hard work and sincerity,” narrates Shreyasi.

My Life Quote

Shreyasi quotes, “I would like to quote Ms. Sushmita Sen from her Q&A round from the 1994 Miss Universe finale, “The essence of a woman is in being a mother”. My journey as a human and as an ambitious woman comes a full circle the day I am capable enough to adopt a child. It will also be my way of thanking God for everything he has given me.”

Beyond the glittering velocity of Mumbai and the confidence of its urban spirit lies another kind of luxury: one born of handlooms, chisels, dye vats and the quiet brilliance of master artisans.

India's 'Eternal Dream Girl' Hema Malini has always had a way of elevating art into something deeply personal. ...And as I sat at the Science City Convention Centre Auditorium in Kolkata watching Hema Malini’s Draupadi, I realised this wasn’t just a performance I was witnessing... it was an experience I was feeling.
At Salone del Mobile 2026, where global design narratives unfold with striking clarity, TheGlitz finds itself drawn to a collection that speaks in whispers rather than declarations. Jaipur Rugs’ FACES is not merely a showcase, it is an experience, a meditative journey that translates the architectural philosophy of Kengo Kuma into something profoundly tactile. In a world increasingly driven by visual spectacle, this collection invites you to slow down, to feel, and to engage with design in its most intimate form.
It is within this sweltering, high-stakes environment that Pocari Sweat recently launched its 'Hydration for City Heroes' campaign in Pune through an on-ground hydration drive at the DCP Traffic Office, Pune – 2, Sadhu Vaswani Road, Camp, in the presence of 40+ traffic police personnel, distributing 3,000+ bottles to support those working in extreme outdoor conditions. Impressed by Pocari Sweat's Heroic Initiative, TheGlitz truly believes this is where thoughtful brand action meets real-world impact... quietly championing hydration as a necessity in the age of rising heat.
In an industry that thrives on constant reinvention, the very talented actor Aartii Naagpal’s return to Hindi cinema feels less like a comeback and more like a calling.
