Bigg Boss

Every season of Bigg Boss lands like a plate of overstuffed chaat — colourful, messy, addictive, and capable of giving the entire nation acid reflux. But Bigg Boss 19? Oh, this season is a pressure cooker on steroids. Contestants are throwing shade like confetti, alliances are shifting faster than mood swings, and the audience is hooked like it’s the IPL finals. And of course, the biggest question of them all: Who’s taking home that trophy? TheGlitz delves into the spicy depths of Bigg Boss-19-winner-o-meter…

Let’s start with the so-called favourite — or shall we say, the one the cameras just can’t stop loving the gorgeous Kashmiri girl who turns her nose on “television” on National TV — Farhana Bhatt… or the Bigg Boss Gundi in Rohit Shetty’s words. She’s definitely seizing the day. Though her language is as colourful as her gorgeous ensembles, Farhana has definitely grabbed the attention of the Bigg Boss lovers. Love her or hate her… you can’t ignore her. But can whipping out cuss words and colourful expletives win the title? It hasn’t before… but you never know…

However, Farhana too has her share of spicy alliances. With whispers floating around about her close ties with an Endemol casting director and a rumoured extra-sparkly glow from the Bigg Boss PR forcefield, Farhana walks around the BB house like a woman whose destiny comes with a lighting crew. Is it guaranteed victory? No. But does she get screen time that others would sacrifice their ration baskets for? Oh, absolutely.

Then there’s Tanya Mittal, our resident storyteller who treats the house like her personal autobiography-in-progress. Her tales — more like tall tales — swing between wildly dramatic and accidentally hilarious. She’s entertaining in a “girl, are you serious?” way, but whether that translates into a win… let’s just say her impact level depends entirely on how much masala the audience likes with their weekend chai.

Gaurav Khanna, television’s superstar, enters like a hero with a pre-installed fanbase. His calm confidence, sharp gameplay, and effortless charm make him the entire house’s balancing beam. But here’s the catch — in Bigg Boss, being too perfect is suspicious. People want drama, not dignity. If Gaurav wants the trophy, he’ll either need a meltdown or a miracle. Preferably the former.

On the flip side, we have Amaal — the music industry’s talented, moody, gloriously dramatic firecracker. His journey is basically a playlist of emotions: a little rage, a little redemption, a few sulks, and a few surprise hugs. He’s unpredictable, volatile in a strangely poetic way, and probably the most “main character energy” anyone has seen. If the trophy went to the contestant with the most cinematic breakdowns, Amaal would already be writing his victory speech with a quill pen.

Sliding in with quiet strength is Malti Chahar, sister of cricketer Deepak Chahar. She’s smart, unbothered, plays long-term chess while others are playing Ludo, and somehow always stays glowing even after a fight where she turns her back and walks off.

But of course, her journey couldn’t be peaceful — Kunika, our ex-vamp-turned-champion-of-women, keeps sprinkling whispers questioning Malti’s personal life. Whether Malti is or isn’t what Kunika hints at is absolutely nobody’s business — but this is Bigg Boss, where rumours have longer legs than contestants. Drama guaranteed.

Pranit More, the hilarious truth-teller of the house, adds a dash of chaos every time he opens his mouth. He’s funny, raw, spontaneous, and yes — capable of eliminating competitors with the smile of a man pushing someone off a cliff “just for fun.” Well, Abhishek Bajaj definitely didn’t expect that twist… not from a friend who insisted he was first priority.

Meanwhile, Ashnoor is… well… sweet. Lovely. Polite. Completely harmless. The kind of contestant you root for but forget to vote for. Unless she suddenly unleashes her inner volcano, she’s blending harder than matcha in a café.

And then we have Shehbaaz Badeshah, brother of Shehnaaz Gill, whose attempts at comedy are… how do we put this kindly… a little carpet-scratching cringe. But even that has its use — after all, Bigg Boss loves content, and he definitely provides something.

So who’s winning?

Well, this is Bigg Boss, the land of unpredictable endings, shock twists, and results that sometimes feel… divinely orchestrated.

Farhana has momentum, Gaurav has star power, Amaal has emotional impact, Malti has strategy, Pranit has entertainment — and the audience? The audience has popcorn.

Whoever walks out with the trophy, one thing’s for sure — Bigg Boss 19 isn’t a show this year. It’s a full-blown cultural event, a circus of personalities, and a masterclass in how to keep a nation hooked.

And as for the final winner?
For now… the house is still spinning the wheel.
