She is the undisputed queen of chocolate. India’s best-known Chocolate Sommelier Zeba Kohli is an iconic figure in the world of chocolate. She’s been a judge at the International Chocolate Awards, chocolate taster and chocolate consultant and entrepreneur; Fantasie Fine Chocolate. She was also the only Indian to judge the ‘Bean To Bar’ chocs. Not only that, Zeba has also judged the Italian, Mediterranean, European, African, Middle Eastern & Asia Pacific chocolate competitions.

But besides this enviable resume, Zeba Kohli is a woman of substance who has withstood all odds and challenges. In an exclusive interview, Zeba Kohli tells TheGlitz what defines her as a woman.

You are not just a powerhouse Chocolate Sommelier and the Chocolate Global czarina, you are also a multi-faceted achiever and so much more. So what defines you as a woman?

I’d like to define myself as: I am a curious little girl who is permanently hungry to learn more, share more and do more than I did yesterday.

Are you a strong woman who has held her ground no matter what or a firebrand feminist? Or both? Why?

I am a person who seeks fairness for one and all. I seem to have a reservoir of energetic creativity and a die-hard optimism with an underlying wisdom that everything is not a constant and what one sees is only superficial.

Time and sleep are the best answer givers and healers. Work and workout to me is a form of worship and meditation and patience is my middle name.
