As a part of TheGlitzMegaStarMom initiative, could you tell us about the magical moments of your journey as a MegaStar Mom and what TheGlitzMega StarMom initiative means to you?
Being a mother is often quoted as the most exhaustive yet rewarding job and I’d have to agree. I am a mother of two boys, who owns a design business with her husband as her partner and support system, and every second of this journey has been magical. Even the times that require every second of my strength are worth it because I get to feel alive amidst all my dreams. TheGlitzMegaStarMom initiative fills me with immense joy because just like myself, countless moms strive every day to make their efforts count and to be recognised for a role that has gone severely underappreciated for the better part of these past centuries is refreshing.

Could you describe your experiences as a momfluencer/ mompreneur? Pick out three of fave moments with your little ones.
I won’t lie, it is not an easy job, and I think moms around the world will agree that balancing family and career as a mother is synonymous with riding a tandem bike from the front. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world, as I get to enjoy exhilarating moments with my kids and share my passion with them through activities like sculpting or baking. We also enjoy late-night family bonding on weekends; you know the simple pleasures of life.

Tell us about three challenges and rewards of running a successful business or being an influencer while being a mother.

Running a business as a mother alludes to both my children needing my attention, and I can’t favour either of the two. I won’t say that sometimes one of them does take precedence at a given moment. For instance, if we have multiple projects at the firm running simultaneously or if one of my boys gets sick, I’m required to attend to them. Additionally, I have to work harder than my male counterparts to be accorded the same amount of respect in the field only on the grounds of belonging to the supposed ‘fairer sex’. I’m also expected to put my family first, while my husband, who has been a wonderful partner personally and professionally, doesn’t need to skirt these expectations. It is normal to juggle through them; pay attention that you continually balance the scales. I’ve tried to bring my kids and my passion together by enrolling them in skill enhancement, and though they are really young, we often enjoy brief brainstorming sessions in my office as they come up with some fascinating ideas too.

Fashion, like a perfectly timed runway cue, always tells you where you’re headed... sometimes even before the lights come up. So as 2026 steps stylishly onto the runway, the industry isn’t just changing silhouettes; it’s tailoring a new mood. Less noise, more nuance. Less trend-chasing, more truth. He did it again! That's right, Kartik Aaryan is making super-spicy headlines, and again, it's not for the right reasons... Indeed, TheGlitz says, if Bollywood had a syllabus titled How to Become Viral Without Saying a Word, Kartik Aaryan would currently be its most discussed case study. It all began, as most modern-day controversies do, not with a statement or a sighting but with a Goa whisper, a few blurry social media breadcrumbs, and the internet’s favourite sport: connecting dots that may or may not exist. Somewhere between sun-soaked beaches, sightings, and speculative screenshots, Bollywood's headliner Kartik found himself at the centre of a spiralling narrative...
It all began with the charismatic man-about-town Mario Ferreira leaning in and saying, “You have to listen to Tammy & Roy.” And once we did? There was no going back. One song led to another, nostalgia danced with joy, and before we knew it, we were completely hooked... on the harmony, the warmth, and that unmistakable Goan glow that spills out every time they perform. There’s a quiet revolution happening in India’s travel landscape — one that doesn’t just involve humans with suitcases, but furry co-pilots with wagging tails and curious whiskers. Pets are no longer left behind when families embark on vacations or trips; they’re being packed into cars, carried on flights, and included in holiday itineraries the way newborns once were. But while demand is skyrocketing all across the world, India’s hospitality industry is a tad slow... and is still catching up — and here’s why Sumita Chakraborty, Founder & Editor-in-chief, TheGlitz believes that the time has come for a pet-friendly makeover in India.
