One of the whisky cocktails from our recently-launched cocktail range is Indian Summers: it is a clarified Japanese whisky cocktail, with jackfruit saccharum and tomato puree. It is a light but potent drink, high on technique but laced with nostalgic Indianness, which has become a bar favourite at Taftoon.

Oasis Brewery on a Sunday afternoon is the kind of place that makes you forget you have anywhere else to be. Sprawling, serene and quietly spectacular, this Whitefield landmark redefines what a long, unhurried Sunday in Bengaluru can look and feel like — craft beers, world cuisine and a sky that threatened rain but only added to the drama. Amoeba on Church Street on a rainy late Saturday afternoon turned out to be three hours we never saw coming and didn't want to end. Twenty-five years on, this Bengaluru institution has returned louder, sharper and considerably more fun — the bowling lanes alone are reason enough to cancel whatever else you had planned.
