Some women build businesses. Some create homes. Alka Ladhani has mastered the art of doing both with elegance, empathy, and quiet strength. As Executive Director of Sincere Developers – Taj Agra, Alka stands at the intersection of leadership and luxury, helping shape one of India’s most iconic hospitality destinations, where world-class experiences unfold against the timeless backdrop of the Taj Mahal.

But beyond boardrooms and business success, the role that transformed her most was motherhood.

As a mother of three daughters, Alka speaks of motherhood as the journey that taught her patience, emotional resilience, adaptability, and unconditional love — lessons no professional title could ever offer. That honesty is exactly what moved us. In a world obsessed with outcomes and achievements, she reminds us that the most meaningful success lies in raising empowered children who feel heard, loved, and deeply supported.

Her belief that presence matters more than perfection captures the spirit of the modern woman beautifully. Whether through shared meals, travel, heartfelt conversations, or simply showing up fully in the moment, Alka understands that real connection is built in everyday rituals, not grand gestures.

At TheGlitz, we chose Alka Ladhani as part of TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026 because she represents grace in motion — a woman balancing leadership with love, ambition with warmth, and strength with softness. She proves that women do not need to choose between nurturing families and shaping enterprises; they can do both brilliantly.

She is raising daughters, elevating hospitality, and redefining modern motherhood with poise.

She is powerful. She is grounded. She is inspiring.

And that is why Alka Ladhani is a true ‘TheGlitzMegaSuperMom 2026‘.

You wear many hats — mother, leader, achiever. Which role has surprised you the most, and why?

Motherhood has surprised me the most. Leadership in business comes with strategy, structure and measurable outcomes, but motherhood constantly evolves and teaches you something new at every stage. As a mother of three daughters, I’ve learned patience, emotional resilience and unconditional love in ways no professional role could have prepared me for. It has made me more empathetic- not just at home, but also as a leader.

In a world that celebrates hustle, how do you create meaningful moments of pause and connection with your children?

I truly believe that presence matters more than perfection. Despite busy schedules, I consciously create little rituals with my daughters- whether it’s traveling together, long conversations over meals, sharing books, or simply checking in emotionally. I’ve realized children remember how you made them feel, not how many meetings you attended. I try to be fully present in the moments we share.

What is one life lesson motherhood has taught you that no business school or boardroom ever could?

Motherhood taught me that you cannot control everything- and that’s okay. In business, we often work with plans and predictability, but children teach you adaptability, acceptance and emotional intelligence. It has also taught me that strength and softness can coexist beautifully.

If your children had to describe you in three words, what do you think they would say… and what would you hope they say?

I think they would say: adventurous, supportive and strong.

What I would hope they say is that I made them feel heard, empowered and deeply loved. At the end of the day, that matters more to me than any title or achievement.

Could you tell us a bit about Taj Agra and the philosophy behind it?

Taj Agra is a blend of luxury, warmth and authentic Indian hospitality, with the iconic Taj Mahal as its backdrop. Our philosophy has always been centered around creating experiences, not just stays. We believe true hospitality lies in thoughtful details, emotional connection and making every guest feel special.

For us, hospitality is not merely about service- it is about creating memories that stay with people long after they leave.

What does being “TheGlitz Mega SuperMom 2026” mean to you in today’s world –  perfection, resilience, reinvention, or something else entirely?

To me, being “TheGlitz Mega SuperMom 2026” today has nothing to do with perfection. It is about resilience, balance and authenticity. Women today are constantly evolving- we are nurturing families, building careers, supporting communities and still rediscovering ourselves along the way.

A true “TheGlitz Mega SuperMom 2026” is someone who embraces both strength and vulnerability with grace.
