Wardwizard Foods and Beverages Ltd. sent TheGlitz their QuikShef range of ready-to-eat products that included Jeera Rice, Channa Masala, Palak Paneer, Dal Makhani and Kadhi Pakodi for a review. We tried it and…

QuikShef with their tagline ‘Instant Hunger, Instant Food’ is a yummy delight. Why do we say this? …That’s because you don’t need to put any effort into making it. We just snipped the packets and put the content in a bowl and then microwaved it for three minutes, and voila, it was done!

We tried the Kadhi Pakodi first and it was absolutely finger-licking good. It was also amazingly fresh and had the authentic taste of Kadhi Pakodi that we hungered for.

The Cumin (Jeera) Rice we thought was less in quantity but the Channa Masala, Palak Paneer and Dal Makhani made up for it in taste. We had just one word to say ‘Super yummy’!

TheGlitz verdict: A huge thumbs up! You can carry these QuikShef ready-to-eat packs anywhere – from picnics to journeys – it’s easy to cook as they are ready to eat, not messy and have an authentic taste of home-cooked food.

Snack Buddy sauces

Snack Buddy

Ward Wizard Food and Beverages also sent TheGlitz a hamper of Snack Buddy which comprised Schezwan Chutney, Eggless Mayonnaise, Barbeque Sauce and Pizza Pasta Sauce. We tried out the Eggless Mayonnaise first and though I’m a firm believer that mayonnaise never tastes good without egg… I was wrong. It was delicious and was the perfect accompaniment to snacks. The Barbeque sauce was also very yummy. It was thick in consistency and had a rich tangy taste and was perfect as a barbeque accompaniment. The Schezwan Chutney was spicy yet delightful while the Pizza Pasta sauce was pretty good.

TheGlitz verdict: SnackBuddy is the perfect accompaniment to snacks. The sauces are rich, tasty and the quantity is good. We give a huge thumbs up for this.
