Thriller Killer

We confess… we are huge fans of the thriller genre more so as our staple diet in books ranges from Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon, Agatha Christie, James Hardley Chase, Ashwin Sanghvi to all the mystery GOAT (greatest of all times) masters. So when TheGlitz was sent ‘Thriller Killer’ by Rajan Narayan, we were a bit skeptical… There are too many ‘me too’ authors in the whodunit zone who try to copy the great masters but fail miserably. Would ‘Thriller Killer’ by Rajan Narayan be the same? TheGlitz reviews…

‘Thriller Killer & Waxed!

Thriller Killer
Thriller Killer by Rajan Narayan

The synopsis that started with a breaking news headline ‘DAHISAR LOVER GETS WAX TREATMENT’ caught our attention right from the word ‘go’. A body covered in wax… This was indeed a whodunit right from the start. And then we started reading Thriller Killer… we were hooked.

Rajan Narayan is right. He doesn’t pen words. He pens visuals. Indeed, we agree… Narayan is a master craftsman who through his vivid visual words enthralls and ensnares the unsuspecting reader into his lair as he enshrouds a multi-layered clever plot that seems seemingly simple at first and then ends up being a dusty cobweb of myriad lies and heinous intent. The book is gripping and unputdownable. …And the reader is thrillingly trapped into a dark world of heinous gruesome murders.

Dark Depths

We read ‘Thriller Killer’ in one ‘go’ simply because it was absolutely unputdownable. Super gripping and enthralling, each chapter got us closer to the killer – into the dark depths of his devious mind where he plots heinous crimes… each more grisly and dangerous than the other. Every scene etched out is starkly dark and mystifying. Will ACP Malati manage to catch the killer? Or will this Machiavellian evil killer disappear into thin air to appear again in another avatar?

TheGlitz Verdict:

‘Thriller Killer’ is fast-paced, exciting and simply unputdownable. Each chapter is racy and paces into the puzzling fast lanes of mystery chasing a devious killer on the loose. After a long time, we enjoyed reading a well-told thriller. Bravo, Mr Narayan!

We have just one request for the author Mr Rajan Narayan… how about a sequel?
